Amazing water filter
We wanted a filter for our sink and I ordered the x16 and it was really easy to install. I will say I was impressed at the size of this thing. It’s massive. I liked the x16 over other filters I’ve seen because the filters are replaced via the front, not the top. I also liked the faucet. Installation was very easy, hardest part was the drain hose but that wasn’t hard it was just nerve racking drilling a hole in the pipe. But it’s really not a big deal. Assembly, priming and using it couldn’t be easier. I love that it shows the TDS on the filter, without this my water supply is around 75, with it it’s around 11. Water taste crisp and fresh thanks to the remineralizer and it’s fast. Can fill a pitcher or cooking pot in seconds. I recommend this.

BEST REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM OUT THERE!
This is an AWESOME product! Easy to install. Intuitive operation! Tankless operation. More comprehensive filtration process! Can be programmed to deliver exact volumes so you don’t accidentally overfill INCREDIBLE OUTPUT!! 1600 GPD?!?! Are you kidding?!? Makes me realize how miserable I really was with the four year-old system this one replaced. With the old one, it would take 6+ minutes to fill our coffee pot with the weak stream it put out. With the Waterdrop? It’s like we put it under the tap faucet and turned it on all the way up. Had a plumber install it. Even he was amazed at this product. I’d bet even the lower models would still outperform the competition. You want really good clean water effortlessly dispensed with precision and reliability? Get this product and don’t look back.

“Excellent Customer Service and Outstanding RO System”
After doing a lot of research comparing reverse osmosis systems from Costco, Home Depot, Culligan, and other brands, I decided to purchase the Waterdrop RO system — and I’m very glad I did. The system is modern, compact, easy to install, and very user-friendly. One of the features I really appreciate is the built-in TDS monitor, which allows you to monitor water quality in real time and know when filters need replacement. The installation process was straightforward enough that one person can handle it without major difficulty. Recently, I experienced an issue with my original unit involving unstable TDS readings, weak water pressure, and unusual display codes. What impressed me the most was Waterdrop’s customer service and technical support throughout the process. Their support team responded quickly, communicated professionally, reviewed my troubleshooting videos carefully, and genuinely tried to help diagnose the issue step-by-step. When it became clear the problem was internal, they promptly shipped me a brand-new replacement unit without giving me a hard time. The replacement system is now working perfectly with stable TDS readings and strong performance. I especially want to thank Krystal, Mark, and the Waterdrop support team for their professionalism, patience, and customer care throughout the entire process. Based on both the product quality and the excellent customer support, I can confidently give Waterdrop a 5-star rating and highly recommend this system to families looking for clean drinking water for their home or business.

Very good and high flow rate
I am on well water. Wanted a filter that would take out lead and any contaminants. Even though my water tested fine without any filter I figured it could not hurt. In my research I found that filters that remove everything (like reverse osmosis) are not so great because your body begins to leach the minerals etc.. that’s missing from the water. (or so I’ve read) So finding a reverse osmosis system that also puts back minerals was important to me. I also wanted one that I could install myself, and one that had a high flow rate so I wasn’t standing at it all day waiting for my glass or pot to fill up. This system was easy to install, puts the minerals back in, and has the highest flow rate I could find. It also wastes about as little water as you can with a 1:1 ratio. I fill up a pitcher, put it in the fridge. I also use it to cook with. I’ve had it about 4 months now and it’s been working flawlessly.

Almost perfect
Love the black matte look. Love the water speed. Filter works really well. Water tastes great. But am not pleased at how flimsy the cover panel is for something this expensive. It's attached to the main unit by magnets. On mine, only one magnet is holding strong, the other three are weak and so the panel falls off pretty easily. Sent an email in tm them asking for a replacement and never got a response.

The water taste great!
Such as a great buy! The water taste great with the added minerals and it comes out super fast. You can control the oz of water you want each time. The filtration system itself does take a good amount of space underneath the sink but it was super easy to install. So glad we decided to go with the X16. Gives us a peace of mind every time we drink water, without worrying about harmful contaminants. Definitely worth the money!

Healthy PH water in your house - restaurant
You can’t beat this filter, it saves us a lot of money not buying water bottles. It is the best water I have tasted and I’m a water freak. I drink alike 8-10 litters a day. It’s a must have in every home. We are 6 and drink a lot of water

Great purchase; will pay for itself quickly
Update: Have been using this for a while and have updated my review. Still love this unit. I ordered this because water potability has always been an issue in our home. For context, we have been using a water dispenser with the 19-liter bottles, and buying water jugs at the grocery store or ordering them, which usually cost us $10 each plus some delivery. However we go through it quickly (as "hydrate!" is a big theme in our active family), so we often have to put in a large order if we are spending extended time up there. So this has become our new option. I'm really happy with it. And my family is picky with water. This system is absolutely top of the line. With a mind-blowing 11 stages of filtration, the water that comes out of this faucet is crystal clear and tastes amazing. I tested the water with pH strips to confirm it does indeed raise the pH to an optimal 7.5 as advertised Installation and set up (which I did myself -- and I'm a relative novice) was very simple. It took me just about an hour. I have had some recent experience replacing several bathroom faucets in my home, and installing new bidets throughout, so that helped with my comfort level on this plumbing work. The video and instructions are reassuring. I had to purchase a bit to drill directly into my stainless steel sink for aesthetic purposes, but I could have opted to just drill directly into the counter. The instructions are easy to follow, and all of the components felt premium, so no need to buy any plumbing supplies. The unit is pretty sizeable, but would fit easily under most household sinks. I personally store lots of cleaning supplies & a garbage can under the sink, so I opted to house the unit in a dedicated cabinet for ease of access, maintenance, and to keep it away from the cleaning supplies & garbage. Water comes out of the faucet super fast, so initially it would make a splash when pouring water into small drinks especially. There is a faucet-mode that you can easily configure to, which I would highly recommend (should be the default setting in my opinion). This setting eases into the high-powered output rather than immediately generating high output, and completely eliminates the splash issue. So far, I'm delighted. The water flow rate is good, and we are able to use it for drinking, cooking and water bottle filling with great convenience. The black unit is about the size of an old-school CPU, and fits well enough under the sink. It does need clearance of a couple of inches all around, which was not a problem for us. Note that this does need replacement water filters, much as you do on your fridge water dispenser line. I haven't had to buy a replacement yet, but it looks like they are at the $50 price-point. With the price of the filter unit where it is, that's still pretty good if it's going to last a few years. I would highly recommend investing in this system - it is on the pricier side but the build quality and output is excellent so I expect it to stand the test of time.

Huge and nice kit !
Everything you need is inside ! It HEAVY ! I have a custom build system at home, and it not as heavy as this, but this things does provide a lot more output as my tank system. It look much better under the sink as well being a single unit, and feel a lot simpler to replace the filters. I got the black one, but the silver would have look better in my setup ! I'm not sure I would go with a system like this again at that price... Even if it great, I would just get a smaller system with a tank and put it in the basement instead.

I appreciate the high-water flow
I've been using a much smaller RO water system for many years. I used to buy distilled water but the cost of that adds up. Therefore, I switched to a RO system but the flow rate was very slow. However, this high-flow RO water unit now gives me the best of both worlds. No more waiting excessively long periods of time filling a water jug. Besides for drinking, we use RO water for many things around the house. We use it for the CPAP machine. We use it in our small humidifiers in the bedroom. We use a lot of RO water in the fish tank. This under the counter RO system is the perfect addition to our kitchen. We are very happy with it and looking forward to years of healthy clean water. RO systems are not cheap, but they are worth the investment.

This brand isn’t suitable for a new house and it doesn’t have the required certification.
This brand isn’t suitable for a new house and it doesn’t have the required certification. If it’s installed, the inspector won’t pass the inspection and it has to be removed. The plumber actually warned me before that this brand didn’t show any certification on it, but I didn’t believe it and told him to install it anyway. I thought since Costco sells it, it should be fine, but it still didn’t pass the inspection. 😅
