The best smell and quality incense available on the market in this price range *****
I love it and keep ordering it over and over again and I will continue doing so :)

Love this incense
Love this incense, although it is a little different from the rest of the range. It has almost a 'Tibetan incense' quality all rolled up into a Japanese incense. I personally love it and will be ordering it again.

Great product and good value.
Burns well and not too quickly - lovely scent.

Nice mix of traditional Japanese and modern scents
These are nice sticks. Quite long, but thin so they still have a fairly regular burn time. The packaging is nothing to write home about and overall it seems like they're designed to fill the Western market, but they scent itself is still grounded in Japanese tradition. These are lovely for the Autumn, with a great modern cinnamon twist to traditional Japanese woods. I think they're probably good for someone who might want to try Japanese incense, but not get anything too strict or rigid as the typical traditional temple scents. These definitely feel more homely, warm and modern, rather than austere, sombre and traditional. Nice scent overall.

Long lasting incense
One of the top world brands, can't go wrong. Smell is not overpowering, but lighting multiple incense made it better.

More smoke than sandalwood.
Not my favourite in the Shoyeido range. It has the characteristic sandalwoody scent of Shoyeido but it smells far too smokey for my liking. As it was burning I found it more irritating than soothing because of the smoke. I noticed that an hour or two later, when coming back into the room there was quite a nice sweet woody aroma, albeit very subtle. So once the smoke clears and the aroma comes through, it is pleasant enough. Just not good enough to buy again. Especially when there are better incenses in the Shyeido range.

Excellent!
I started with a highly premium version from Shoyeido and as it wasn't feasible I have looked at their more cost effective range. I can say the quality and scent it there. These are brilliant! I mix and match between scents but satisfied with this scent.

I may have reviewed, want to again. This is my favorite autumn incense. I've tried Shoyeido's Kyoto Autumn Leaves and this at the same time a long time ago. This one is far more autumn for me. The other was more indistinct in my experience (I don't think the boxes were old?), maybe somewhat like burning leaves? This is a little more spicy, but more elegant than a Western pumpkin spice type autumn scent. I try to get the small box at the beginning of the season and use it up. Oddly, something makes incense not smell as good in my house and putting it near a window seems to help. This works much better in autumn as I live in Florida and cannot just open my windows whenever. I also like using it on my back porch, outside. If you're not familiar with this brand or Japanese incense at all, this is not strong like Indian ones. This box is much longer than many Japanese incenses, so if you keep it as is, it will burn a little longer. But I actually have come to prefer the short ones, especially with how fragile these are. I tend to break this to use in two parts of the house at once. This way, I do not overwhelm my small townhouse rooms. It's also nice to put near the closet or near (not under! Be safe!) a hanging coat. Someone mentioned that this isn't "real" Golden Pavilion incense. That doesn't mean it's a knock-off (admittedly, I haven't looked into it. But if these are anything like many temple-themed souvenir treats, it may be repackaged for different places). This is a thematic name to evoke an image of Kyoto. I think the theme of gold suits it well, Golden Pavillion, is appropriate.

Quantità di fumo non eccessiva ma persistente

Lovely smell, quality product. full length whole sticks. Best to be used in a good Japanese holder or like i do: break a small piece an place a nice narrow vintage shot glass full of pink salt.

excelente incenso, fragrância duradoura e evocativa do Japão.
