this kit does a great job in setup. I have found metric to be more accurate and easier to work with than imperial, Great set.

Please set up blocks are very good and extremely economical. I have used them way more than I ever expected. Great for setting up tablesaw and router spacing.

Unbelievable. I measured all of these with my Mitutoyo Micrometer. Some were accurate to 3 or even 4 digits out. For those of you wondering what that means: .02mm = .000787" All of these were at least that accurate (within a thousandth of an inch) or more. For precision machining, this won't replace a gauge block set. But, for anything else, this set is an incredible value for $50-ish dollars. Finally, an observation: for DECADES, Chinese stuff was sub-par to American or European products. No more. Apple and other companies not only sold them the machines, they trained the Chinese on the best manufacturing processes. Today, it's no surprise they're winning at manufacturing mass-produced goods. Whether that's good, bad, or other will depend on your politics, but the genie is out of the bottle. No amount of "making us great" by throwing people in vans and implementing tariffs will help - manufacturing (like this) is never coming back. We need to focus on higher-value products and services. We need a leader who gets these fundamentals; not a grifting real-estate developer.

I will start by saying it seems very hard to find metric setup blocks in the USA, and after spending weeks searching for them I stumbled across this listing. I decided to buy them and I was very happy with how accurate they were. For example I stacked a 10mm block with 8mm block and used my cheap digital calipers and it came up to 18.01mm, .01mm could be my mistake or they are in fact off by 1/100th of a mm, regardless it is more than accurate enough for the woodworking that I do.

I think in inches but love the simplicity of metric for my woodworking projects. As an example what is easier to calculate—-what is a third of 2 and 7/32” or 56.33 mm. I would have the metric solved in about three seconds and be moving on to make marks on my boards. These set up blocks are a-joy to work with.

If you are wondering about this set, the quality and accuracy is excellent! Well worth the cost. Case and insert is very sturdy. These make measurements setup so easy for my woodworking projects. I am considering getting the imperial set as a lot US of patterns are imperial… 🤔

I check these for accuracy and they are accurate, I’m glad I bought these, they save so much time and I have found multiple uses for them

The accuracy for the smaller items is a little less accurate, but better than indicated - about 0.002, the bigger ones go down to 0.00005 (!) for the 20mm item. No bending of any item as reported by others. The only thing to remark: all the items are a very little bit smaller, no one bigger - so if you add the items the errors will add to bigger negative diffs. For me perfect since a am primarily working on wood.

Great set. Much cheaper than the American alternative and better assortment.
