I needed a shallow design to accommodate the mover and my mouse stacked on top of each other. My mouse is about 1.25" high, and the keyboard tray it sits on has only about 3" clearance from the desktop. The ultra slim mouse mover has a very slim, clean profile, and was able to sit under my mouse and slide under the desktop with room to spare. The price was reasonable, it was very easy and quick to use, and it worked fine at the start. Three months after purchase, there is now an audible "ticking" sound whenever the mouse mover rotates, as if the inner gear teeth aren't meshing cleanly. It does still spin, and keeps my cursor moving while I'm AFK or not mousing. But the ticking sound is very distracting, and makes me worry about the internal mechanisms (what else might be wrong). When I need to concentrate on work, I have to turn the mouse mover off, because the ticking noise gets on my nerves. I don't remember it being dropped or shaken at any time since I owned it, but even if that did happen, it should have been made to survive such minor accidents for at least the first few months, without affecting the functioning. UPDATE BASED ON CUSTOMER SERVICE: The company read my above review, and messaged me thru Amazon, offering a full refund. After I accepted that, they messaged me again offering a free replacement. I accepted that as well, and the replacement arrived 2 days later. Upgraded from 3 to 4 stars for great customer service and interaction.
