Trusted Product That Lives Up to Its Reputation
J-B Weld has built a reputation over the years for making strong, reliable repair products, and this quick-setting formula is another reason why. When I need a repair that I can trust, J-B Weld is usually one of the first products I reach for. The epoxy mixes easily, sets up quickly, and creates a strong bond. I was impressed by how fast it became workable while still providing plenty of strength once cured. It's great for repairs where you don't want to wait hours for the product to set. What I appreciate most is that J-B Weld continues to live up to the reputation it has earned. There are plenty of products that make big claims, but this one actually performs as expected. The bond is strong, durable, and dependable. Whether you're making automotive repairs, household fixes, or workshop projects, this is a product worth keeping on hand. Reliable, easy to use, and backed by a reputation that it continues to earn.

Miracle Goop!
I got this to try and fix a hinge on my MSI laptop, which had suddenly given out one night when trying to close it (apparently that's a thing those computers are notorious for). Because of how the hinge was set up, I couldn't open or close the computer without the LCD screen trying to peel itself off the computer frame, which was always horrible to see. I used a C-clamp to keep the screen attached the frame, but that kept me from being able to actually close the laptop, effectively turning it into a small desktop computer. This wasn't super convenient and I needed to be able to pack my laptop for travel, so I decided to try epoxying the metal components of the hinge to the plastic of the frame to see if that would keep it together enough for me to able to open and close the computer without further damage happening. I had low expectations for how well this stuff would work, but I was on a time crunch and this was the most promising stuff I could find, so I gave it a go. I mixed it according to instructions (it has a bit of a funky chemical odor at this stage) , then quickly applied it inside the hinge to bond the metal and plastic. Then I used my trusty C-clamp to firmly keep the parts together while the epoxy cured. I left it like that for 24 hours (I think it normally takes 6 hours, but better safe than sorry), then gently removed the C-clamp. When I tried closing my computer.... it worked good as new! Literally, that hinge is sealed like a rock. It feels as strong as it did before it suddenly gave out. I also wiped off the excess epoxy while applying it, so while a little bit is still visible around the seams of the repair site, you'd never know it was there. No odor now that it cured, too. It's been about two weeks since I made the repair and the epoxy is still holding strong. I am not sure what else I would ever need to use this stuff on, but for small oddball repairs like mine, it was great. I'm confident that my laptop's life has been extended significantly, and if the other hinge goes out, I know exactly what to do. I never thought I'd get excited about epoxy, of all things, but believe me, this stuff is 100% worth it.

Great multipurpose epoxy, very durable, wets out fiberglass cloth. Long lasting metal tubes.
Great multipurpose epoxy. I have a pair of Serengeti sunglasses with black plastic frames, really like them, but one arm broke, used super glue 3-4 times to fix it. Finally decided to use this epoxy to wet out a piece of fiberglass cloth, then wrapped it around the broken arm to make a cast. Has worked great, the arm does not break anymore and is tight. The 5 min set time allowed me to hold the arm in the correct position until the epoxy set. Have used on metal too. I keep it in the frig., metal tubes keep it from drying out and/or curing like plastic tubes can.

Fantastic repair product. Hard as steel
This stuff is fantastic at mending things. It is a two part cream that you mix together in equal portions. Works on ceramics, metals and other materials. Dried hard as a rock and seals, glues and fills with incredible adhesion.

It's JB Weld, what else is there to say?
It's JB Weld... if you've never used it before, it's a two part mix that will adhere and fill holes in almost anything. It cures fast, and is extremely strong. Mix a 1 to 1 ratio of the two tubes on a disposable item (I used the packaging it came in, and disposable plasticware to mix it) and then apply to your project. It starts to cure immediately, so move fast. Within a few minutes of curing on the finished item, it's able to be worked around. I needed to repair a door handle that was stripped off where the set screw had indented the rod. The handle would no longer stay on the rod, and when trying to open or close the door it would pull off into your hand. I removed the handle, and pulled the rod out. I then filled in the stripped area with JB Weld and I shaped it to as close to original as I could, and then let it cure for a few minutes. Once it was able to be worked with, I reinstalled the handle and tightened the set screw. I didn't want the JB Weld to be COMPLETELY cured, because I wanted the set screw to indent the product slightly, to increase the hold, and it worked perfectly. The handle no longer wiggles, or moves, and doesn't appear to be coming off anytime soon. This is not coming off of anything it touches unless you're EXTREMELY quick to wash it, so don't get it on clothing, or anything else in the area you're working. Mixing is super easy, it thickens up quickly into a paste like goo. Now I have enough JB Weld left in my toolbox for many projects to come.

Great bond/quick cure!
I tried another brand to repair the back of a brooch that came apart. The other brand failed to cure, so I bought this - cured within minutes and gives a VERY strong bond. I used it on a metal alloy/rhinestone surface. Amazing bond!

JB Weld = Good stuff. Period.
As the label states, dry time (working time) is about five minutes, but will vary with things like amount mixed, how closely confined the epoxy is during and after mixing (think pot size), variance in either resin or hardener dispensing, mixing technique, and temperature where mixed and where applied. Seldom if ever gets out of 3.5 - 7 minute range. rapid but thorough mixing is best. The more you mix, the less working time you will have. Set time is one hour, but for full strength cure all epoxies require 24+ hours to achieve final chemical reactions to an inert stage. Always RTFM or in this case RTFL and follow instructions and application guides and limits for perfect results. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Useful for Metal
Fast delivery, Product says it contains steel in the glu. I can vouch for that, as I used this to glu magnets together and the excess wouldn’t wipe off after sanding, it just kept moving around. The steel powder leftover is some form of steel. Seems to be very strong, but not tested long enough.
