Review: Great Shoes! - I really, really like these shoes. There are suede leather, which is really nice instead of canvas. I bought a half size up since many of the reviews seemed to indicate that they ran large, but I found that I had to size back down to my normal size to get the best fit. So I would say that they do run mostly true to size, but just a wee bit on the smaller size. So if you are in between sizes, perhaps sizing up would work for you. Otherwise I would recommend trying your usual size first. They are so comfortable and versatile that I have worn them almost every day since I received them and bought them in a couple of other colors, too. The laces are a bit on the short side, but still functional. The grey shoes also come with purple laces so that you can change out the look, which is fun. The black ones also came with teal laces that match the trim of the shoe. The chocolate ones only have the original laces and no extras. Review: Cute and sturdy, but runs narrow. - I just received these shoes today, I got the brown color in my normal size 7 1/2. I almost got the size 8 because of reviews that they run small. Glad I didn't. They were snug when I first put them on, but I'm walking around the house with them on (with socks) and I can feel they are already breaking in nicely. 8 would have been too long. Nice suede feel, but why are the shoe laces so short?! Weird. I was able to tie the laces into a very tiny bow, but I predict they will come loose after walking awhile. The laces are a khaki color. I have been searching for suede type sneakers to wear with jeans or shorts, these are super cute, even for a 37 yr old like me! I got these at a great price, I might buy the black ones next!! Highly recommend! Other sneakers like these are twice or even 3 times the price. I love Teva flip flops as well, I have several pairs. If these shoes are on sale, buy them now! Will be great for fall and spring, I will probably use water proof spray on them just so I can get more wear out of them on drizzly days.

Super cute and comfy, but might need to go up a half size
I've long been on the hunt for a cute and comfy pair of suede sneaks to replace my favorite old pair of Simples (a great casual shoe company, sadly no longer in existence), and these definitely fit the bill. If you've ever worn Teva Mush flip flops, you know they're bonkers comfy. These are even better, cause they have a real rubber sole on them, are much more supportive, and won't wear out like the flip flops do. The suede is soft, and the chocolate color is a richer color than the picture shown (the picture is a very greyish brown, but these are a true chocolate brown, think Hershey bar). My only complaint is that they may run a little small, though I'm not certain they're small enough to warrant exchanging them for the next size up (we'll see...). All in all, I'm in love! *UPDATE* A couple months later, and these are hands down my favorite shoes! I did NOT exchange for a half size up, and I'm very glad I didn't! After only a few days of wearing them, they stretched enough to be thoroughly comfortable.

Cute, comfortable sneaker
It's been a while since I had a pair of cute but comfortable sneakers, so when I saw these for half off on Cyber Monday, I couldn't resist. I've read mixed reviews around the web on these when it comes to size, with a decent percentage people swearing that they run super, super small and urging buyers to size up by at least a half size. I considered it, but ended up going with my gut and ordering my regular size; I'm glad I did. The shoes fit very well with normal socks, to maybe even a tiny bit big-- but definitely not small at all. If I'd sized up they'd be way too large. So I recommend you get your regular size. I got the teal color, and in real life it's honestly more green than teal. There might be vague blue tones, but as a whole I'd call them green. Still a nice color, though, and they look very cute with jeans. They're quite comfortable, as most Tevas are, with decent arch support and a springy footbed. They came with two sets of laces: the grey you see in the pictures, and then a set of teal/green ones that match the shoe. My only reason for four stars and not five has to do with the fact that the laces are ridiculously short... to the point where it's sort of tricky to even tie them. Don't get me wrong, it's doable, but the shoes would definitely benefit from laces that are just a bit longer. However, beyond the lace length I really do like these shoes and would recommend them.

Great Shoe, Very Comfy
I wore these shoes out of the box. I'm a 6-1/2 M width and they fit perfect. One shoe was a little snug the first day but by the next day they were perfect so I'd say the fit is really true to size without a lot of extra room. The shoes have some support in them unlike most shoes of this type. I've worn them on concrete for walking and even to work without a problem. These are good shoes, stylish, and well made so I will be ordering more colors.

Had To Order One Size Larger, Stiff Stitching Pressing The Top Of Foot Was The Deal Breaker For Me
I liked the look of this shoe when I came across the screen online. After years and years of wearing Converse Chuck Taylor and finding them to be over priced and poor quality I wanted to try a similar look in a high quality shoe. When this shoe arrived it was not what I had expected. It looked just like a skate shoe, like Vans Off The Wall style. That is not what I wanted at all so it was decided almost right there I was going to send them back unless the fit was so comfortable that I could overlook the horrible style. I tried them on and walked around the house, hard flooring and carpet. At first they were not bad at all. Not tight and not loose, almost made just for my foot. A different feel than Converse Chuck Taylor for sure. The soft suede leather was soft and giving. Then I started to notice a pinch or pressure where my little toe meets the rest of my foot. With each step as the shoe sole began to soften more and flex more the double layer of suede that is stitched together on the upper outside of each shoe did not give and flex the same as the rest of the upper. It stayed rigid and it bore a great deal of downward pressure as the rest of the suede leather upper tried to flex and fold. After about some time of brisk walking around the house I took the shoe off as well as my sock to see a bright red line where the stitching and double leather had been pressing down. If it were not for that pressure on the little toe the fit of the shoe was great with ample cushion and soft suede. I guess I should point out I am a male with a narrow fitting heel and an average or narrower forefoot (toes). My bone structure is slight and I am very thin and I have no “meat” on my feet or ankles (or anywhere for that matter). I have a difficult time finding clothes that fit my frame and finding shoes that are long enough for my foot without being loose and sloppy in the width especially the heel. To put it another way, I have worked for years in primary education, there have been 6th grade girls with fatter longer feet than I have. In recent years I have found that women’s shoes are often narrower than men’s. They usually are more colorful too and that isn’t bad for someone like myself that likes colors other than black, red, brown and white. The width of this shoe is right where I would expect it would be or slightly snugger than other brands of women’s size 11 shoes, even though I ordered size 12. It definitely fit small for a 12, exactly like most of the size 11 women’s athletic style shoes I own. You can see in the photos I have uploaded. If the stitching had been back farther or forward farther I don't think I would have had any problem with this shoe and would have kept it. The shoes was not advertised as a skate shoe but was advertised as a commuter shoe. The laces are short so not to get wrapped in peddles. This is not even close to the ideal solution like Keen shoes have. If you look at Keen commuters you will see the Keen bungee lace system and secure lock down also. Anyone that is an avid cyclist knows what a true commuter shoe has a pretty rigid sole. This shoe has a soft flexible sole. I just don't know what Teva is trying to accomplish with this shoe. Part skate shoe, part commuter, and part Oxford in the style of Converse. It was an odd mash up that almost worked perfectly and if I didn't have such strong feet muscles and use a good deal of toe flex and push off when I walk, I don't think I would have experienced any problem with this shoe.

and I need something that is comfortable. These are it
I want to buy 3 more pairs of these. Firstly, I walk 2 miles to school and 2 miles home, so I get a lot of walking in a day, and I need something that is comfortable. These are it! True to the Teva brand, they're a dream to walk in. Amazing comfort, no blisters or pains after wearing these for awhile. Good grip on even slick sidewalks. Also, they look awesome. I always feel like a cool kid walking around in these guys. (I have the gray ones with the purple piping) I do bike often, and these really do have excellent grip on bike pedals as advertised. I HATE it when my shoes slip off the pedals (looking at you, flats) because it gives me a .5second heart attack, lol. That doesn't happen with these shoes. There are a couple concerns about the lacing of these guys. As soon as I realized that you're not meant to lace through the top grommets, I had no problems. Also, new shoelaces are pretty cheap if you really want to lace them all the way to the top, and these shoes themselves are very reasonably priced so picking up some extra-long laces on amazon at the same time probably wouldn't be a huge splurge. I didn't, though. I wear the original laces with no problems at all.

Comfortable quality sneaker--runs short
I had to give up my beloved Converse sneakers due to a foot condition, and the Freewheel is the closest I could find in the way of a retro look with better support. These are indeed very comfortable--compared to my Converse, they feel like slippers. The sole is cushioned nicely and there's some arch support as well. Just an overall great shoe for everyday walking around. My foot is slightly narrow, but I still wear a medium. These are a bit wide, so I'll be wearing heavier socks. The only obvious flaw is how SHORT they run. Seriously, I recommend getting a full size longer. I normally wear a 7M in sandals, and 7.5M in clogs or boots (anything I wear a sock with), but I had to return the 7.5M in this for an 8M. Amazingly, there still isn't a lot of wiggle room in toe, but enough to be comfortable. I got the brown color, and it's nicer than pictured--the laces are sort of a taupe color, and the rubber areas are a muted cream white rather than a bright white. Just ordered another pair in black!
