Works really well for making quark as quark has to strain for 12 hours in the fridge after the heating process. I like that it has the little ledges to keep the product from falling down into the whey during that time. I can see where it might be too fine for other recipes, but for my purpose, it's just what I need.

I really like this one. It works better than cheese cloth, traps more "sediment" and doesn't soak up liquids because it is non-absorbent. It is very easy to clean and I have reused it over and over many times. Just don't pour hot liquid through it, that will ruin it. I like it because it's deeper than my other ones and has tabs on it to prop it on top of your bowl, which my other ones don't have.

Great lil gadget. I was expecting it a bit bigger but it gets the job done. Used it a bunch and it’s still living however the edges are starting to come apart. Fits perfectly into the cover of my bowl. And you can just put it in the dishwasher so no need to clean butter by hand.

I did not understand what “100 mesh” meant—I thought it indicated that 100 disposable mesh filters were included. It turns out the product is just a plastic handle with a single mesh filter. I returned it unused. Sorry for the confusion.

What a fabulous kitchen tool! I'm so glad I bought this and am wish I had bought one sooner. I use it mostly for my homemade milk kefir but have used it for other things as well. Worth the money!

I bought this product to strain kefir. The mesh only allowed a little of the liquid to go through. This left the majority of the desired liquid in the strainer. Purchase a strainer from another company that did the job. Not sure what I'll use this strainer for.
