Tripp seems to be able to put all of our thoughts, questions, and hurts in simple, thoughtful words, always bringing us back to the faithfulness and glory of God. A beautiful book full of words of wisdom.

I was looking for a devotional to start off 2026. I knew specifically what I wanted; a hard copy book - not an app, wordy but not overwhelming, and something that didn’t call me to write in the margins or journal. After reading a ton of reviews this option kept coming up. I’m 4 days in and so far it is great. Beautiful words, nice versus to study further in my bible. I took the cover wrap off and it’s a nice hardcover. I really like that it has a built in ribbon bookmark as well. The devotions are always one page in length but don’t feel “too short” for a takeaway message. I like as well that this isn’t gender specific, so both males and females can ready (I plan to lend it to my dad for next year). Overall a great choice.
