I hope care for a lot of elderly people. A lot of times I have to leave the room of where they’re at to do laundry or go back in the backyard. Feed the birds or take out the trash. This gives the elderly as well as me a piece of mind. If I’m away for a few minutes and something happens, all they do is press the button and I will come running. The distance is pretty good for reception. I have been at least 100 feet away at times. The tone is loud and adjustable with different tones available. I bought the one with the two buttons, one for upstairs, one for downstairs . The piece of mind that the elderly have just knowing that I am just a beep way. The peace of mind that I have just knowing that they are comfortable with knowing they are not left alone. There is no reception so you cannot talk back-and-forth to each other. It is simply an alert bell.

Bought this for my elderly father. I slept in the room above him and could not always here him calling my name. And we had a few falls in the bathroom across the house. He was able to push the button which rang the alarm in my room. I highly recommend this product for caregivers. This allowed my father a little bit of freedom and the security to know I was just a click away. Honestly it is loud enough to hear through the whole house.

Works as described. The red buttons are nice and big, however it would be more beneficial to people with mobility issues to be able to use the entire space to "bump" to ring. Still working with my daughter on getting this in the right spot. Also, suggested using this as a doorbell, but since it is marked "SOS" I'm not sure that'd be the best use, unless a sticker or alternative cover was sent.

Because I had surgery I am staying on lower floor of house with my husband's den up stairs on opposite end of house. His phone broke day after I got home. We can at least let him know he is needed to help by buzzing our new helper. I get my help now!

This was exactly what I needed for my dad . He has surgery and was in another room 81 .. he used this call bell and it rang in my room. . I knew he needed me . Trust me he ran me to death. Lol

Does what it says and is easy to use. I bought it for my dad’s caregiver when he was bedridden and all he had to do is push the button if he needed her.

This call system is perfect for what I need. The button lights up to confirm that it has been pushed, but doesn't stay on to drain the battery; and it does not take a lot of effort to push the button, which is important for frail people. I like that there is a place for a lanyard if you want to use the transmitter that way, or you can stick it in place using a screw or the included double-sided sticky pad. The sticky pads have a rectangle cutout which prevents it from interfering with transmission signals. That was unexpected and is really smart - it never occurred to me to do this with previous wireless systems. I now know that if I need to move the transmitter to a different location, do not to cover the part where the signal is going to come out to avoid weakening that signal. The user manual, by the way, is so small that I had to use a magnifying glass to read it. But set-up was actually exactly as it says in the user manual (and I wish I had read it completely before starting). I put everything in place before setting the ringtone, and to set the ringtone you need to press the button on the transmitter so it knows which tone to play. Because only one transmitter was close to me, that is the one with the chosen sound while the other one plays the default ding-dong. I imagine it would have been pretty hilarious for someone to watch me trying to run up the stairs to the other transmitter so they both would have the same tone. On the plus side, the two different tones allows me to immediately know which floor help is needed on. Finally, I wanted to note that before I completed this review, the seller reached out via Amazon's communication system ( all internal, the way it is usually done) and I really appreciate them doing so. They wanted to know if their system met my expectations. This tells me they are a conscientious seller who wanted to make sure the product was working out and provide assistance if I needed it.
