I really, really like these manual breast pumps! I'm able to pop them in my bra when I feel my breasts are too full and it catches any letdown I would have lost to a breast pad. I wore them to the grocery store today as just inserts Incase I leaked and didn't even use the suction. They sit well in my pumping bra. I'm able to save about 1oz because of these. If you're a breast feeding/exclusively pumping mom and wanna build a freezer stash or save as much of your supply as possible, I'd definitely give these a try! They're easy to clean, all you gotta do is rinse them with soap and water. I was worried about how hard it would be to transfer milk from them into a bottle and that hasn't been an issue. The cup bends at the top into a spout shape which makes pouring mess free. The suction is not too painful nor too weak and removal is simple, just gently press in. This is definitely a product I would purchase again and so far I haven't found any downsides to this manual pump. Super convenient, discreet, and a great alternative to my Haaka which I'm super paranoid about popping off and doesn't hide in a bra.

I did covered these when I was having trouble feeding my 1st born. I would get let downs and lose all the milk because I didn't have anything to catch it in. Boon has saved me ounces of milk. Whether I'm nursing in one side, pumping one side, or out and about, even after a warm shower. Some people say the suction is t greet, but you have to push it and adjust it based on your nipple placement. It works very well. I didn't mind the price esp since it saved my sanity with being a first time parent and now again with our second born. Great product, easy to use and clean. Value for money... Invaluable to be honest

My cousin recommended this product to me and I think I owe her my life now? These are so amazing. As an over-producer, these save me prom having to hold an actual pump on my boob when I’m nursing on the opposite side. They sit in your bra and can do passive or active milk collection depending on how you want to use them! For relief, I squeeze it when I apply it to my nipple so it actively sucks out milk while it’s on. It has label lines for the ounces it collects which is super convenient. As someone who hates pumping because I don’t want to have to hold my pump on my body the whole time (or spend a small fortune on a pump that is hands-free), I’m obsessed with this. I’ve also heard it can increase your milk supply if you are trying to do that since it actively collects through suction. I’ve also heard people compare it to the haaka ladybug, which I’ve never tried personally but based on what I’ve heard from others, this is the preferred product. I seriously will be recommending these to every breastfeeding/pumping mother I know.

AMAZING ITEM!! I'm so glad I ordered this early in my postpartum journey. Definitely recommend getting the two pack - I was originally going to just get 1, but the 2 has been a game changer as I can continue using one while I'm washing the other one. I have a strong let down so this item is amazing for catching that passive milk. You have to wear a nursing bra or cami if you don't want to use the suction. I mostly use the suction without any bra on so I can let my nipples breathe/air out, and the suction is pretty good and strong overall! Sometimes it will need a bit of adjusting or resuctioning. Basically this can help me empty the one side while the little one nurses on the other side; then you can switch for the next round. I don't really use the plug, I've tried a few times so far and it's always come popping off so I don't recommend it. PRO-TIP: If you have a clogged duct, you can put 2 tsp epsom salt and 1 cup warm water in this, turn it upside down and suction it on. It basically immediately relieved my clogged duct!

I have had several kinda of pumps throughout my kids. I love these kind with adjustable suction that can collect the let down from the other side. This one works great and is almost my favorite. The Boon is more comfortably shaped around the nipple and is a slightly softer silicone that feels a tiny bit nicer than the haakaa, that can sometimes suck a bit too hard with the stiffer silicone and the ridges around the nipple are not helpful when you have a full large boob pushing into it. They make the top ridge a little too stiff and unforgiving. But while the Boon is more comfortable, the Haakaa stands up and doesn't spill my precious milk with the smallest bump, so the Haakaa wins. Boon people! Please make the base a little wider like the Haakaa. Otherwise don't change a thing.

My “situation” and “why” I needed this. You can skip down to to my “why” if you want. Situation- I’m an exclusive breastfeeding mama. Let me tell ya… I have some serious forceful letdowns. To prevent my new baby from gulping and choking on my milk I primarily side lay to feed at home and when we’re out I layback feed baby in the car or on friend’s or family’s couch. The side that baby is not being fed when feeding baby always squirts. Especially when I’m having these letdowns. I’ve drenched many pads, leaked through clothing and have had to stuff a burp cloth in my shirt to soak up the milk. Why (and pros) - Well there are SEVERAL of reasons why I am so thankful for this product! 1. Again, I primarily side-lay to feed my baby. The Hakka suction cannot withhold my milk when I am laying sideways. It’d pop off if I tried laying with it. Also my baby’s reflexes kicks it off when simply sitting up. 2. I am thankful for this milk catcher to be a passive “suction.” I don’t need my milk jugs being actively suctioned when my baby is going to be feeding on of both side. I just need the squirts/dribbles captured to save me from being wet and messy. (Plus I can store the extra in the freezer for mixing in with my baby’s food when baby is ready for that). 3. I’ve read that other milk catching cups have vented holes and would leak if you were to lay down with it. This cup doesn’t have a venting hole so my milk is protected inside until I’m done feeding my baby and can store it away. It the cup can “stand” on the table when you’re not ready to put the milk away immediately. And when you do transfer the milk, it’s suuuper easy to pour it into a milk bag. 4. I bought 2 so that I can rotate in the mid of night, less need to wash often. Also if we’re out and baby isn’t ready to feed yet and my letdowns are coming on, I just pop them into my nursing bra and boom! More milk for storage and no messy-wet shirt! 5. I appreciate the travel bag that it comes with. 6. It’s silicone and safe. I don’t have to worry about plastic overheating or melting when I boil to sterilize. I’m honestly not familiar with boiling plastic bottles and such because I haven’t needed to bottle feed my baby yet. I’ll get to learning about that if or when I need to pump. 7. I bought this because of another mom’s testimony on side laying to feed her baby and this worked for her so I took her word on it, as I was getting desperate. So credit goes to her for sharing! If you’re reading this and have the same/similar situation, don’t hesitate… buy it today. Cons- 1. Because it’s silicone, it will attract some lint/dust. So far it hasn’t attracted any on the inside of the reservoir or the chute, just the outer part of the shell. I think this just happens when my house it too dry and staticky! And right after it’s been sterilized. However after regular washings the dust/lint issue is very minimal. 2. The shape of this cup (top half) doesn’t look stealth at all. But for me, I could care less. If you’re trying to be in stealth mode in public, you may want to maybe apply a bra pad or something on top of the shell. 3. There’s not a “stopper” on these cups if you’re trying to temporarily store your milk. This isn’t a con for me personally. If anything it’s a pro because it keeps the cup lighter and simple. I just bring my storage bags with me and take care of it right away, rinse my cup with a bottle of water and put away my cup. All in all I give this a 5 star because it suits my needs. I really, really wanted to love these. The concept of no breastmilk going to waste? Genius. But there are too many design flaws getting in the way of what could be a great product. 1 - The suction can HURT if you don’t position it juuust right (and sometimes hurts even if you do.) More than the electric pump, more than a breastfeeding baby. 2 - These easily pop off the breast, spilling and wasting precious breastmilk. If you’re breastfeeding on the other side, baby WILL kick these off, guaranteed! 3 - Sometimes the plugs don’t work. And in the process of trying to get them to work, they pop out and again, spill and waste precious breastmilk. Given the lowish price, I am rating 3 stars because having these is still better than nothing. But the Boon Trove is NOT the perfect, mess-free solution like some reviews are making it out to be.

I am convinced that these are a must-have for any breastfeeding moms. I only wish I had found them sooner! Being a FTM, I didn't know what to get as I built my baby registry. I kept seeing the Haaka manual pump being recommended so I included that on my registry. I like the Haaka, but the suction is so strong sometimes that it puts me off wanting to use it. I next saw the Haaka ladybug cups being recommended by other moms to catch the milk that leaks in between feeds. I started to desperately need something to catch the milk because our whole house is covered in milk drops/stains from all the leaking. The Haaka wasn't cutting it, plus I only had one, and both breasts leak. I researched for a while and found the Troves as an option. I couldn't decide between Trove and Haaka Ladybug until I saw someone else's review that said the Trove is better because it provides mild suction whereas the Ladybug just catches the letdown. I wanted some suction but not over the top; decided to try the Troves. I love them! Overnight they became a must-have essential! I take them with me every time I get up from not having fed for about an hour. You would be so surprised how much milk you get just from using these- like one Lansinoh bag full a day (technically over-filled because it's beyond the maximum limit line on the bag). The only thing I need to work on is not spilling them sometimes. They do stand up I their own but I've found that laying them flat on their stomach on the table minimizes the risk of spillage! I also love that they're easy to clean and they dry very fast on their own after being washed. Great value for the money and such a helpful product. Think of all the wasted milk before I found these! Love these; will recommend to every breastfeeding mom I know.

These are comfy but effective. Tried the Haaka and wanted to cry but I don't really notice these and you can just slot them into your bra, wish I'd bought them sooner

Love these, so much better than the ones that don’t sit in your bra. Can either gently suction out the milk or just passively collect. So comfortable and great that they come with a little plug so no spilling!

Great tool for early stages of postpartum. You can save a good amount of milk by just collecting the letdown while you are breastfeeding on the other side.
