Great tasting but hoping for better price in future.
I really like the Black Garlic flavor. I tried the whole garlic version, but this puree makes it so easy to spread on eggs, crackers etc.

A pantry staple!
This black garlic is so delicious! We not only add it to ramen and stir frys, but to sauces, soups and casseroles. Gives a wonderful depth of umami, savory flavor without being overly garlicky at all. Highly recommend!

It's mediocre at best
I really wanted to like this product but I found it disappointing. I first used it to add garlic flavor to my homemade ramen broth but the flavor was weak in my opinion. It looks like it should have a stronger flavor that it should but I had to use 3 tablespoons to let the flavor rise when I cooked homemade noodles. And even with that amount it was still weak. Maybe I was using it wrong (I read someone using it for bread topping -- like a jam) but I would think that using it like that only confirms that it's not as potent as I thought it would be. Anyway, sorry, I can't recommend this.

No garlic breath, sweeter than I expected
This was a unique surprise. It has the garlic aroma and flavor of white garlic but it also has a sweetness to it that is far more than white garlic. For some reason, you don’t have to suffer through garlic breath though. I like that this comes in a jar for easy storage and dispensing. I’m still figuring out how to use this best. I enjoy eating it straight out of the jar but I would like to incorporate it into meals so I can enhance the experience. I’ve tried it in sandwiches, but it’s too sweet. I’ve spread it on bread, and I felt like it lacked the savory aspect (I’m a big fan of savory vs sweet). I saw in the description a suggestion to mix this with mayonnaise and I actually think that would work amazing for a spread - since it would up the savory aspect. Also, I haven’t yet used it in cooking, but I think it would work really well in pasta and stirfry.

Delicious & healthy. It’s like dry figs but with garlic taste. Came very well packed as high end super food.
