decongestant works well. I was using a decongestant spray at bedtime and realized I was having rebound effect. My nose was closed off completely and I could barely breathe. I used this inhaler and it cleared the enlarged membranes. Now I use it every night and sleep great. I no longer have enlarged swollen mucous membranes. If I feel a bit stuffy during the day I use it. Totally pleased and get it autoship every 2 months now

One reviewer mentioned an initial strong scent then very little. Given the combination of ingredients I experienced very little scent but some clearing. Don’t expect a Vicks inhaler. I use this in combination with the sinus rinse, both help.

Great stuff! Opens the nasal airways!

I had originally discovered a generic Vicks inhaler a couple of years ago and swore by it throughout that season. But those tend to be more expensive and I liked the description of this one with some more natural ingredients. The first set that I bought was quite potent when I opened the package and lasted a long time. The second set didn't feel as strong, almost reminding me of when the first set was on its way out. But that second set is still going, longer than that first set.That being said, I will still buy them again because they are not as harsh as the Vicks ones and do their job of clearing my sinuses without being messy. When allergy season hits, I'll want to stash them everywhere.

Great at a great price.

Whenever the heat inside increases, my sinuses inflate like a balloon:) I had carried a tube of this inhaler in my purse for a few weeks and never tried it. I found it while in church and sniffed once in each nostril and within 30 seconds my eyes were both watering and dripping down my face. Then my nose began to drip profusely. I'm so glad that I had 2 large napkins in my purse because I was a mess as I wiped both. All of this to say that this is a VERY powerful and effective inhaler that made me toss the other name brands that were in my purse and bathroom. I was excited to tell my coworkers and anyone who suffers with nasal blockages.

It is not a replacement for the Vicks brand. Completely different. Very herby smell
