Similar I believe. This cot is great, easy to work and comfortable. The only thing you need to make sure is that place in a level area. Their are many legs and they need to touch the ground.

Can the cot go in the washing machine? thanks

??? The cot has metal legs, so of course it cannot go into a washing machine! If you're talking about the pad/mattress, that's rather bulky, so you may need to take it to a commercial laundromat.

When opened, what is cot height, other than elevated head section?

The cot height is 14 inches, a little low for this 68 year old body to get up from on some mornings!

Is this designed for the frame and the mattress to fit in the carry bag together?

No. The frame fits in a bag. Not the mattress
