Lumipets Bunny Silicone Night Light for Kids, Squishy Lamp with Remote

My 2 year old is scared of the dark, and the light her Hatch gives off overnight wasn't cutting it anymore. I found these Lumipets and let her pick out the animal she wanted. She chose the owl, and it's been a huge hit. She likes to make sure her owl is on every night before bed and has even enjoyed playing with it and carrying it around during the day. The night light is soft and flexible. My daughter loves the remote and changing the colors and brightness. At night we keep it on a low white light. It seems to have a long battery life, especially keeping it on a low light, and I charge it a little every 2-3 days to make sure it doesn't turn off at night. Definitely recommend and would purchase again.

Our 2 year old is starting to be able to climb out of his crib, so we wanted to have a light to at least keep him from hurting himself doing so. This light is pretty adorable, and it's got an impressive amount of settings and features (can set to stay at one color, to cycle abruptly to different colors, to fade into different colors, 3 timer settings or it can just be left on indefinitely). If needed I would feel safe leaving this in the crib with our son. It's very soft and almost squishy, rubbery plastic and presents no choking hazards. Some of the colors are brighter and more saturated, while others are soft and dim. Since you are able to select a constant color, it gives options for how bright the room will be during nap/sleep time. There are even 2 settings for white (one bright, one dim). This thing really is awesome. I can't attest to the battery life at this point but we plan to just leave it plugged in all the time anyway. One drawback, but not enough to ding a star, is that it does not come with the actual piece that plugs into the wall outlet but it does come with the cable. I almost went with a basic plug-in night light, but I'm very glad I spent the extra $5-10 to get this instead. Would recommend and absolutely would buy again!

So far I'm really impressed with this little night light. My toddler, 2.5 yo LOVES it. He told me (without prompting) that it was "very cute". It seems very durable. My kid has been smooshing it in over and over and over. It pops back out easily ever time. There's a good number of colors and my kid likes to go through and say all their names. He also likes picking out a color before bed. There is a pretty decent amount of control/options just by tapping the light. It starts with dim white, then bright white, then all the colors fading from one to the next, and then all the colors jumping from one to the next --on this setting, you can wait for the color you like and tap the light one more time and that's the color that it will stop on. We have the version with the remote. There are a couple more things you can do with the remote that you can't do just by tapping, including: dimming any color you set it on (there's probably five or so different dim settings from bright to low light. You can also set a timer (15 min, 30 min, 60 min). My kid loves playing with the remote (which he also sometimes pretends is a cell phone, lol!). The battery lasts a pretty long. We've been using it for about two to three days at a time before needing to recharge -- for both nap (2 hours) and bedtime (it's on for probably 10-12 hours). We'll see how battery life holds up over time, but right now it's stellar. Longer than my iphone stays charged...!! The only teeny tiny complaint I have is that it's pretty sensitive -- we'll get it on the color/dim setting we want and then set it on my kid's pillow and it'll change b/c it thinks we tapped it. dang! But that's not that big of a deal in my book. And I'm just really pleased that my kid likes it so much and it helps him feel better at night. UPDATE: The battery has since stopped lasting so long. At this point it can last about a day of use (that's all night and about three hours of nap), which is still pretty impressive. However, I've taken to just keeping it plugged in unless my kid wants to play with it (which he still loves to do). It's been a great tool to help with bedtime/naptime routine: he likes to help get the room ready (close shutters, turn on white nose, turn off overhead light), and sometimes it's kind of a pain to have him do all that (esp b/c some of it involves me having to lift him up!). Instead, I have him pick a color for his polar bear, which he loves to do, while I do everything else. Works well and everyone is happy. :-) ANOTHER UPDATE: The remote stopped working recently. I contacted the seller. They replaced the remote for free -- very kind and fast customer service. I was very pleased!

This is a toddler and kid safe product. The silicone is soft and easy to wipe clean. The little bunny face is adorable. The lights are pretty and my kids love it for their night light. I like that the light is rechargeable and that I don't have to use batteries or leave plugged up constantly. It makes it easier and more mobile. I like how well the remote is set up with color changing to a specific color or the multi-color changing mode. The timer and brightness control is nice. I like that is remote controlled, but you still have to initially click the button on the back before you can use the remote. The remote can do anything while on. It can cut it off while on, but you can't press the power button on the remote to initially turn on. That being said, overall it has been an awesome night light. The remote control part is a very minor issue to the quality. My daughter takes it everywhere and "feeds" her bunny. I would definitely recommend and may purchase another in the future so that my kids can each have their own.

I got this as a nightlight for 4-yr old. It's cute, she likes it, and it makes nice colors (except red - the first time she saw that color she said, "it looks mad" and it does look a little demonic when it's on red). I have one big complaint, and it looks like a concerns others expressed. In the highest brightness setting, it is very bright. I had originally put it on a dresser, but it cast way too much light, so now I keep it on a dark carpeted floor near a tapestry to minimize reflection. When you dim the light (using the remote), the light level is appropriate for nighttime except when the white color is on (I imagine white is all of the LEDs on at the same time, so white seems brighter than the other colors). The problem is, every change you make to the light resets the brightness level back to maximum, so if you change from say blue to green, you have to then click the dim button repeatedly to get it back to the right level for sleeping. Also, the color changing modes simply don't allow you to dim the light, period - they only work at the brightest setting, and can't be changed, so they're useless for nighttime (IMHO). I'd also prefer that the light could be turned on with the remote - you can't do that. It has to be turned on by touch. You can turn it off with the remote, and do all of the other features, but the initial on has to be by touch. At least when it's plugged in (can't be sure otherwise) it has a very dim internal light that makes it glow all the time, which I actually like, because it makes it visible (softly so) in the dark even when it's off. I don't know about battery life - we keep this plugged into a usb charger at all times. Occasionally the kid will play with it, but it's mostly treated like a lamp for our use. We hardly ever use the squeeze feature that lets you push in on the light to activate/change it, but it doesn't seem to work too reliably in my limited interactions. After the initial excitement wore off, though, we now set the light once at bedtime and don't manipulate it after that, and for that purpose it works fine. I give the kid the remote at bedtime, but she mostly doesn't touch it.

I would highly recommend this night light. It’s squishy, has multiple colors and it can turn on/off with the remote or a light tap on the top. I like its many color options.

These are super cute. I ended up buying two for each of my girls. I really like the different color choices and the remote control allows you to dim at considerably which is good because I don’t like them sleeping with bright lights. Also super soft and huggable. If your kid wanted to sleep with it they would be able to. I will say though as one review I read mentioned they are very sensitive to the touch and have a feature where if you touch it it changes the color which also then changes all the brightness settings. It is super easy to accidentally change the color and then the brightness. I wish you could set the brightness and it would stay. You can also set it on a timer or leave it on all night. The remote is kind of small and I’m worried it’s going to get lost. I try and leave it up out of reach of the two-year-old. If you want it to run a battery you need to charge it every two days which is sometimes hard to remember to do. You could also just leave it plugged up but then your kid couldn’t hold it. I have it set up on a dresser where my two-year-old can’t reach because of the sensitive touch issue. I like to have her choose a color then dim the light and leave it out of reach for the rest of the night. But overall it’s a cute nightlight with lots of options. and I like it enough to have bought a second

My son is 8 months old and he's in that age where they begin to dream and of course with good dreams come bad ones as well. :( He had broken his previous night light when playing with it a bit too excitedly and let me tell you, the next couple of nights were rough! My husband was adamant about not having anything in his crib whereas I was more concerned about things like durability etc. The moment this came in I popped it on the charger and gave it a full charge before I put it in the crib and my son? Instantly fascinated! He's teething right now and he went right for the ears and we didn't have a single issue. He's chewed on it, squished it, laid on it and beat it up and it does what it says! It goes right back to it's regular shape, it's soft without any hard angles or edges he can get hurt on, and it doesn't put off any heat. The charge port fits a regular micro usb that you'd find on any regular cellphone these days so if you ever lose the original it's easy to get a spare. The batter lasts on pretty heavy use for about a day and a half. The remote control is a life saver as you can do anything you need with it without having to get your hands on the bunny itself. This helps a lot when your little one is starting to fuss in the middle of the night, all you have to do is press the power button and bam, little bunny's on and crisis averted. I can't praise this thing enough honestly, it's everything you could ever need in a night light for your nursery. My only sadness? Is that they haven't made a whale one yet because our son's room is mostly nautical theme and having a whale would just be close to the best thing ever! :D All in all? You can't go wrong with it! If anything? I feel like the price is a little too cheap for what your getting! (please don't up the price! As a parent you're almost always broke! XD )

Brilliant night light for my daughters room!! It’s nice and soft, made from silicone and the brightness and colours are fantastic. The thing I really like about this light, from others I’ve had is the fact it charges from the back of the light rather than the bottom. This enables the light to be stood upright during changing so can be plugged in at all times, rather than running on the battery. The battery does last a good few nights after a full charge and that’s having it on the brightest white light! Remote control works perfectly too!! I certainly won’t need to replace this light!

Ma petite l'adore elle le malmène un peu le pauvre à force de lui baver dessus et de le mordre et pourtant il résiste à ses assauts ! Les lumières sont sympas et en cas de crises il calme la petite !

Está muy bonito, se me hace que es perfecto para los niños ya que es muy suave, el control tiene de todo, el único problema es que no enciende directo con el control, tienes que apretarle un botón que viene en la parte de atras del muñeco y pues se me hace un poco incómodo, aparte de eso el brillo siento que deberia de llegar un poco más abajo ya que en lo personal se me hace muy brillante aún en el mínimo (no deslumbra, pero no es tan tenue). Fuera de eso está muy completo en cuando funciones, puedes dejarlo con un solo color, ponerle que se "desvanezca" o que cambie de trancazo. Y eso que si le das una palmada cambie me encantó.

Minha filha dorme com ela todos os dias, a iluminação é ótima, e é fofinha.
