The Viperade VE18 is a compact yet functional everyday carry (EDC) pouch designed to keep essentials organized. It one of the better EDC pouches. I was a little unsure at first but this has turned into one of the best purchases I've made in a while. This takes a lot of pressure off my wallet gives me a place to carry change, a pocket knife, my spare flashlight and a few other things. Very durable, very easy to carry, sits nicely in front of my cell phone in my front Hip Pocket in my work pants. Have carried since August/September 2023 daily. It is in great condition. Carry change in one zip pocket, wipes and glasses cleaning strips in the other, and still have room for more if needed....Update. after 1 year 4 months of daily carry I absolutely would still recommend. It works great, has held up great, has never opened in my pocket and has not worn out even with carrying bulky change and other items daily.

This thing is well-made, and the Xpac fabric is a good upgrade because it reduces the overall thickness of the pouch (although the upgrade is a little pricey). The pockets have an excellent size and layout to carry flashlights, knives, car keys, multitools, and/or full-sized pens. You can carry up to 3 full-sized pens comfortably in the vertical pocket, although I only do 2 (a Sharpie and a normal pen). This pouch fits excellently in a men's jeans front or back pocket, but it's not a great fit for smaller pockets like on khakis. It'll fit, but it'll be sticking out the top.

The concept of this is great, I think it's fairly overpriced for what you get. The material is sturdy and it has plenty of pockets and 2 zippered compartments. Its a bit bulky in the pocket but it's reassuring knowing I always have a fairly comprehensive EDC kit. My only gripe is that it offered no stretch or expansion for some of the compartments. I have a flashlight and a knife on one side in the external pouches which is great but because of that and the small battery I keep in the smaller zippered compartment I can't use the whole other side of the case and put anything meaningful in there. With that being said I wish I got one of the punches that opens and would have taken the small increase in size for the extra meaningful capacity.

You have variety of colors and it’s between $16.99-$22.99 an excellent value The viperaid has great Versatility,and the materials the pockets and zippers are made of great quality and sturdiness. The Viperaid VE18 edc pouch has a Classy appearance not to mention that you can almost anything you want to carry in your pocket bag,sling , backpack,vehicle,consul,dashboard,side pocket without it being too big an bulky making it apart everyday routine,and everyday life. But Please Don’t Take My Word For It… Buy it and Try It Yourself You Really Can’t Can’t. I have three other Viperade pouches, but this one is my favorite. First, it's made of Xpac material, which provides excellent durability and waterproof qualities. Second, the capacity is impressive—it's one of the larger pouches of this type. While it may not be something you want to carry in your pocket regularly, it's perfect for holding items like pens, a notebook, morale patches, several multi-tools, and more. One common challenge with pouches is that the design of the pockets can sometimes consume space inside the zippered areas. However, this particular pouch has ample space and flexibility in each compartment, making it easy to pack. The only downside is that when it is underpacked, some pockets may stick out a bit, but I don't see this as a significant issue. If I had bought this pouch first, I would probably own fewer pouches today. The flexibility in size makes this pouch easy to use. My orange version is beautiful and helps me spot it easily when I leave it lying around. Like all Viperade products, this pouch offers incredible value for the money.

It's perfect for a work pocket. Maybe a little bit smaller for regular pants or pants with small pockets.

I bought the Maxpedition Platy and the Viperade VE18 at the same time to compare the two. I used them both for about 2 weeks. COMPARISON: The Maxpedition Platy is much better, in my opinion, but only because of the layout and design. The materials of the Viperade VE18 seem to be of much higher quality (the zippers and material feel stronger and nicer, and the molle webbing is a more solid build, whereas the molle of the Platy is stretchy elastic), but the organizational layout of the VE18 always came out bulky and lopsided, no matter how I organized and reorganized the thing. The Platy, on the other hand, stays slim with the balanced layout of the pockets. The pull tab on top, and the center-zip pocket are extremely useful for accessing the gear, and make the Platy more useable and accessible than the VE18. The zip pockets of the VE18 are far less handy, because the one is so slim that it could only contain paper (such as business cards, cash, or bandaids) and the other is so deep it is a pain to dig anything out of there. Also, in the larger zip pocket of the VE18, you can’t store much beyond a couple of AAA batteries without seriously bulking the thing up, because all of the items are stored in between the tools and notebook on the exterior. PROS OF THE VE18: This is a good pocket organizer, but it gets bulky if you put much in it at all (and I even left a pouch empty on mine, as you can see in the photos). The material, molle, and zippers are all very nice. The smaller zip pocket is good for paper, like business cards, bandaids, or cash. CONS OF THE VE18: The lanyard loops at the top are pretty useless, unless you’re going to wear a bulky and potentially heavy (depending on what you put in it) tool pouch around your neck to swing around and bulk up your clothing. The Maxpedition Platy has a much better alternative to this, in my opinion, which is a pull tab loop that I use all of the time to pull it out of my pocket. The layout of the pockets are a bit frustrating, a because the front pockets aren’t deep enough for pen lights or pens/pencils, nor are they big enough even for smaller flashlights, if you have a notepad in there. So, you have to put all of these things on the one-sided pouch in the back, which makes the whole thing lopsided. Also, the primary zip pocket (on the side) has very little space if you have any tools on the outer pockets. If you decide to put anything more in there than a couple of AAA batteries, it really bulks up the whole thing. On the contrary, the Platy’s pocket design allows me to put quite a few things in there without issue, because the tools are on each side while the stuff in the pocket floats in the middle (see pics and description below for what I mean). MY PLATY SETUP (which works great): Since I can barely use the front tool pockets (the side with the molle), I store my tools in the back pockets (the side with the zipper pocket). I have a small backup flashlight on one side (the O-Light I3T 2 EOS or the 511 Tactical pen light are about the largest that will fit), and spare batteries for my primary light (CR123A batteries) on the other. In the zip pocket I store 2 spare AAA batteries for the O-Light flashlight, nail clippers, chapstick, and a spare battery for my gun light (and more would fit in there, although it would start to get tight at that point). I keep my Rite in the Rain notebook in the notebook pocket on the front side with a very compact O-Light pen beside it. Business cards I have to keep in the notebook pocket as well, because the front pockets are not made to accommodate anything that wide or thick (as I mentioned earlier). You can see my Viperade VE18 layout too, which is similar. But the VE18 is just bulkier, and items don’t fit as neatly because of the layout of the tool pouches. I am only able to fit in some bandaids and a couple AAA batteries into the zip pockets.

I purchased this with a Japan travel trip in mind to store a passport and cash. Japanese law states foreigners must carry a passport with them at all times. The intention was to attach a neck tie/cord to it - so that I could have it on me at all times and have it securely out of sight effectively hanging from my neck and stashed under my shirt. Whilst the items fit perfectly, having the cord around the neck attached to this pocket wasn't overly pleasant and the friction from the thin cord grew irritating fast. Having to pull the pocket out from under the shirt too grew old quick. As far as the item itself, build quality is excellent. It is probably not overly practical from a travel perspective in terms of carrying it with you everywhere unless you want it visible and attached to your belt.

Great item, well made feels durable like it's going to last quite awhile.

Great quality as usual. This is what ya need if your after an edc wallet. Fits cards cash and loose change no problem. Well worth the price
