Easy straightforward swop on vauxhall insignia, nearside a bit fiddly but doable, seem much brighter than original not driven yet ,how long they last only time will tell

Finally I found my perfect white and bright headlight bulbs, they are brilliant! After trying so many different brands I can happily settle with these.They are powerful and I can see clearly driving even in the darkest country roads, really happy with the purchase for my Yaris 2015 model.

I bought these in Feb 24. They weren't particularly bright when I put them in and less then a year later they're so dim that they may as well not be on.How do I claim on the 2 year warranty?

And the side to side coverage was bad as well. Almost waiting for the police to catch you and drivers to be dazzled.

I’ll be honest, I was expecting better. I was fully expecting to be driving around in my own little patch of daylight. That’s what the item description had me believing. But they ain’t that good. But I suppose you have to temper that with the fact they’re being installed into a fitting designed for a different type of light bulb altogether. They’re ok. The light is better than what I was getting before. It’s. Definitely a whiter white. Polishing the headlamp “glass” itself may help the situation too.In conclusion.Not as bright as the blurb would have you believe. But if your headlights are hardly better than the candle powered lamps from an old stagecoach from the time of Dick Turpin, then these are an improvement. Next test is to see how long they last……

Much improved light from these over normal halogen lights, beam pattern looks ok not dazzling on coming traffic, I hope they last the test of time, easy fit in a16 reg Opel/Vauxhall insignia with no error lights on the dash, I will swap back to halogens for the NCT/Mot as technically these are not allowed to be fitted unless from factory ,even though they are in my opinion a safety upgrade to the car and don't blind other drivers, 5 minutes to change so no big deal I would recommend.

Bit fiddly to get in as not alot of room on the astra j but once fitted no error codes on dash nice a bright compared with the candles they originally have and beam patterns fine . Will be buying these again .
