I have had remote lights and have not been pleased. They were fiddly, didn’t give good light, or didn’t give enough time and you constantly had to charge them. I LOVE these lights! The magnet mount makes for easy charging and I love that I can plug them into a C charger and not need a free lamp. I also love that it has a flash of another color when you put the timer on so you know it worked. Also soooooo pleased with the amount of light they give off. I will be getting more!

They are great, but don't stay charged very long.

Could the battery life be longer? Probably. Do they still work great and make it so much easier if you don't want to get up to turn the lights off (particularly if you prefer to turn the lights off in bed and don't want the light right next to you). I originally got these because I have a beautiful old lamp that is in a desperate need of a replacement for the cord. I didn't want to plug in the lamp so I found these and they work great! Yes, they do die and I would say die decently quickly but you should still get at least one day minimum of straight use out of them. As I tend to rotate the lights, the two-pack works great for me!Only downside is in my move I lost the remote. You can use the button on the bottom to still use them but the remote made using them so smooth and easy so I am disappointed it is lost. (Supposedly I can get a replacement as I bought it within a year ago but I can't figure out how to contact the manufacturers)

I have a cute vintage lamp that I wanted to convert into a cordless dining lamp, and this light bulb provided a solution.Pros:- Light lasts several hours on one charge- Remote with timer enables me to set color and automatically turn off lamp after dinner, so I don't waste charge- Remote keeps color setting from previous use... I don't have to scroll through the options- 2-pack enables me to have spare bulb charged- I don't have to plug in the lamp to recharge the bulb... I can leave lamp on the table and recharge bulb elsewhere, and I don't need to keep the cord on the lamp for recharging- Bulbs swap out quickly... bulb attaches to a magnetic base that is screwed into the lamp- The bulbs are low profile without the base so spare (charged) bulb is easy to store in a nearby drawer- Spare bulb held it's charge for 3 weeks until I was ready to swap it inCons:- Bottom of the bulb is opaque... would prefer lower half of bulb to shine light down onto the table as well- There is not a good warm white setting for color... it has amber and then daylight and cooler. I use the amber and it is okay, but would prefer something less warm (2700k). I don't use any of the colors or flashing settings, lol- The settings are unnecessarily complex, with options for color, flash, etc.. Maybe this is a plus for others.- You have to know how to operate the lamp once the bulb is installed. You don't use the traditional switch, you must use the remote or the switch on the bottom of the bulb. So likely this bulb will confound visitors who are trying to help

These bulbs are really neat!! I put 2 smaller lamps on my mantle and cut the cords off and used these bulbs!! Love how you can choose the light temperature and how bright or dim you want. Just wish they would last longer before needing to be recharged. Would but again though.

Charges well, magnet that connects the bulbs seems to secure well. Remote works well. So far, very pleased with everything. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the shape of it won’t permit the use of a typical clamp on lamp harp shade. Not sure if the magnet feature would allow a harp of that type anyway.
