Thermos Ultimate Series Flask, 900ml

This is an excellent Thermos. I’m just back from Antarctica with temps in the -20’s and -30’s. This flask kept my coffee warm, and it was great to have a drink of hot coffee on my breaks up Vinson. One thing I would change is I would go for the smaller size.

I haven't had the opportunity to keep anything cold in this Thermos yet, but I can say it definitely keeps my tea hot 24 hrs. I pre-heat it for about 10-20 mins before filling with hot tea, and it keeps it steaming hot 24 hours. It could possibly keep it hot longer, but I usually drink the last cup right at 24 hours after filling.

Use it for winter hiking and I really like it as it holds hot tea longer then any other thermoses I tried. I like very hot tea at the end of the trail.Love it

I received a unit this afternoon. When I took the instruction inside out of the thermos and shook the bottle I can hear some noise like a small piece of metal is moving up and down with the shaking motion. I’ll request a new unit in case it’s broken.

Cette thermos est bien faite avec des bandes caoutchouc qui protège plutôt bien l'ensemble. Attention cependant à certains coups qui pourraient enfoncer la structure extérieure, ça m'est déjà arrivé, surtout avec du matos de montagne en métal dans le sac.La préservation de l'eau, chaude ou froide, est très efficace, 24 heures avec peu de perte de température. Le bec verseur est cependant pas très pratique, mais ce n'est trop gênant.

Die Flasche sieht nicht nur schick aus, sondern hält auch, was sie verspricht. Selbst nach 24 Stunden bleibt mein Getränk heiß, und das ist besonders beeindruckend. Die Gummipolsterung am Boden verhindert ein Verrutschen, was sich als äußerst praktisch erwiesen hat, vor allem wenn ich die Flasche im Zug auf einem Tisch abstellen möchte. Zusätzlich sorgt das Gummiband am Korpus dafür, dass die Flasche besser in der Hand liegt. Alles in allem eine absolut empfehlenswerte Outdoor-Flasche, die meine Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Ich bin rundum zufrieden und freue mich auf viele weitere Monate der Nutzung!

The Thermos Ultiimate drinks flask unique feature is in its ability to keep drinks scalding hot for 18 hours and hot for 24 hours. I purchased 2 of the smaller size (previous model) one for me and one for my wife about 15 or more years ago and they have never failed to impress on how hot they kept our tea or coffee. They are quite tough and resilient . Unfortunately I dropped mine once too many times , but without blinking instinctively reordered a new one within a heartbeat.Ooops, my eagerness caused me to order the larger 900ml size in error. I will keep it for hot water when we do go out together, as I drink coffee and she drinks Tea.I have already ordered the smaller size ( currently available from TK Max at under £20 and ordered on line for collection tomorrow I can’t wait).Originally I used it for work knowing wherever I was driving to around the country I had a hot coffee to enjoy and even if half drunk a very warm coffee at the end of the day before I started to drive home. I found the smaller size quite adequate to last me throughout the day providing 2 cups of coffee throughout the day.Life without one is almost inconceivable, that is how impressive the Thermos Ultimate flask is.I will keep the larger 900ml size and not return it as even though it is too large for my regular use as I’m sure it will come in useful on the odd but critical situation e.g. Overnight keeping water hot for the morning on a Trip or if I’m in bed unwell a hot drink to hand all day or overnight. It will also be great for cold drinks if going on a picnic or to the seaside with family .It may seem expensive but it truly is a long term investment. 20 out of 10.

After reading other reviews we went for the Thermos and have not been disappointed. Drinks stay hot for hours and easy to pour solution helps as you never need to open the flask fully so heat will be retained. Smart looking as well so definitely recommend.
