TT TRSMIMA Safety Harness Fall Protection Kit: Full Body Roofing harnesses

This TT TRSMIMA Safety Harness and Fall Protection Kit is very well made, practical to use, and an absolute necessity for climbing a tree with a chainsaw. The quality for the price is amazing and I can't imagine why anyone would buy the comparable harnesses that are twice as much or more. This one will fit an average sized man. If you are a very tall or heavier than average person, you may want to continue shopping elsewhere.

Quality material, good construction and lots of adjustments.

I'm not a contruction worker or a trades guy. Just a homeowner with very steep and high slopes where I have pull weeds and plant stuff every now and then. I bought this at the urging of my wife who was concerned I was going to fall one day. Since I'm getting older I probably would have slipped one day and gotten injured. At the top of my slope I have iron fencing so I can attach the two clips to the fence maybe about 10-12 feet apart. The tether is too long for my use so I have to bundle it up tie it up. The harness itself fits well as I'm not a big guy and there is a lot of slack left over particularly in the waist and leg areas. I only wish it had a clip on the front because of the way I am using the harness. The clip on the harness for the tether is in the back so I had to put in a sturdy D ring around where the harness is secured at the chest area. But now I can work down a little lower down on the slopes and not worry about falling down 15 feet. Before I would spray the weeds with roundup but then accidentally killing some of my good plants.

I cant believe how well made this device is for the ridiculously low price. I have seen harnesses for line workers and oilfied that cost hundreds and hundreds more, and this is equally well made. The loop reinforcements, heavy hardware, and fall arrestor are exceptionally made. I have no fears of falling to my death wearing this. The latches are but tricky (simple plate and slot design) and the back rear leg hooks need a second person to reach if you arent flexible. Storage bag ,instructions and easy to understand instructions included. Will accomodate a 250-330 lb male. Tremendous value.

Very heavy but very heavy duty.

Far better than was expected. For a one time use I bought this cheap harness but it was far from cheap. It was well made and easy to put one. The lanyard was short but it was perfect for what I needed.

Have been climbing our 2-storey roof for more than 25 years. It is time to get some safety gear. Normally may only climb up 2-3 times a year, inspecting (or doing minor repair when necessary) shingles/skylight. Already had a roof anchor professionally installed a couple of years ago. Have not actually put it on yet, but the hardware is very heavy duty and the straps are of good quality. Other than Fall Protection, it may give me a bit more confidence to get closer to the edges (ONLY when necessary). For this price, it is a great buy.

Quality was poor, fraid strands of internal material was sticking outside the outter sheath.

I am not at all good with heights and needed to repair some exposed decking two floors up. Probably a little extreme for anyone who is ok working on ladders but for the price I invested in this. Took a while to step into it, getting it all secured off and sort out a way to secure the retention rope. Once you have it on firmly and connect the substantial clip to a structure it does give you that extra security and peace of mind. Stating the obvious but remember the security clip has to be in a location that can take your weight if you do fall, and also at a length to stop you. Plenty of instructions with it - very well made and even though it won’t get used a lot makes a lot of sense.
