Change your life book !
I love love this book & everything Ilana does. She truly helps you to balance your life , take care of your health, improve your life ,& she makes it so doable. The recipes are SO good ,& SO easy. I honestly think Ilana is genius. This is the first ever weight loss program I think I can not only do , but live the rest of my life,& I am 62 - tried everything . Anyone that starts the Ilana way won’t want to turn back. I cannot recommend this book ,& all of Ilana ‘s books , Instagrams etc. I feel like I have a new life already ,& only been following the program 5 weeks. I feel so much better ,& the foods are SO good. Thank you Ilana. God Bless You richly.

I was really unsure about these recipes until...
I also bought Ilana's Book "You Can Drop it," decided to try her 2B approach and literally within about 5-6 days, I decided, reluctantly, to get on the scale. Well, to my surprise, I had dropped 4 lbs. Now, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that if you drink loads of water and eat mostly veggies, you will probably lose weight. But what's different about this approach is that I'm actually satisfied and so full! After a plate of carrot fries (my own recipe), I can barely eat anything else. There are many other recipes - especially the salads - that I am excited to try - the cloud bread sounds interesting too. I have made pancakes before with egg whites and they are quite good. This recipe is just a variation of that. Shakeology protein shakes are absolutely delicious but certainly not necessary - my favorite protein powder is either Alaya Naturals of LSF Plant Protein - both of these are much more affordable options. However you choose to do it, these recipes do require some shopping but I can seriously envision myself slipping back into my skinny jeans with ease in probably as little as 3 weeks. Fat doesn't stand a chance with this approach. So glad I discovered this!!!

Great recipes
I love the variety of recipes in this cookbook. They are easy to follow and healthy. This is great for someone with a sweet tooth like myself. You can eat the food you enjoy without feeling guilty afterwards.

A wonderful cookbook
I love this gal, I’ve seen her on YouTube. I bought this, but then was going to return it thinking I don’t really need it. I’m going to give it to a friend. It’s a wonderful cookbook. Thank you.

Kids on board!
To get my kids on board with eating healthy, I had each of them sticky tab this book on the pages of food they wanted to try. So far they haven’t been disappointed, and they’re 13, 11 and 8! Ilana has such an approachable, positive vibe in her cookbooks, as she does on social media.I love her definition of sexy salad - basically it has one of each color in the rainbow! She expanded the definition to whatever healthy salads you enjoy, but what a great mindset to have toward a meal that often gets a bad rap.You won’t be disappointed with this book. We have been eating more veggies since getting it, and that’s a win right there!

I really appreciate this book!
As a busy mom of 3, who also works full-time, I really appreciate having this book on hand. I’ve read it all the way through now and all of the recipes appear to be very easy to make, plus there’s mouthwatering photos of all of them! I appreciate the simplicity of the design on the pages and throughout the book.As someone who follows the 2B Mindset, it’s nice to have a central location of some of Ilana’s best creations. I like that there are different flavor combinations and variations of some of the base recipes. I don’t always think to add different ingredients together to play with flavors and I prefer to follow recipes for the most part. I also really love the “Savvy Sweets” section because I struggle with sweets the most.I think this cookbook is great for anyone, but especially busy people, or those new to cooking.

The recipes look and sound great, however a lot of them include things most people don't have in their kitchen. For example, hearts of palm, miso paste, kohlrabi, shawarma etc. I understand the concept of healthy options but as someone who isn't great at cooking who is looking for some healthy easy recipes, it would have been much more useful for me, if there were alternatives or suggestions for the uncommon things such as the ones I listed above. Yes, I could go out and buy all these things but at that point, realistically and financially I don't see that happening or effective enough for me personally to stick to. I bought because I follow her on social media ans she does have some great recipes, the back of the book even states healthy, delicious recipes for every day, easy snacks, lunches and dinners etc. I unfortunately didn't feel this book lived up to that and won't be keeping it.
