I installed this in the Lithium Battery compartment on my motorhome as a precaution. I don’t expect this to stop a lithium battery fire but hopefully it can slow it down enough that if we are inside, we have time to get out.

I bought the Ougist 0.2lbs Small Automatic Fire Extinguishers for my boat battery compartments, and I feel much safer having them on board. They’re compact yet seem well-built, designed to handle any unexpected situations without taking up much space. I haven’t had to use them yet (and hope I never will!), but it’s reassuring to know they’re there, ready to protect my boat and batteries.

I'm giving this a 4 star rating because it is easy to install, however, I have no idea if it works and I hope I never have to find out!

This is one product that I strongly recommend a fire deterrent that can easily be installed in your vehicles engine battery anywhere in that compartment out of the way no fuss quickly install I highly recommend it

Make sure the temp under your hood doesn't reach 135 degrees!Most under hood temps can reach from 195-250 degrees.Install it away from any engine heat.

I enjoyed the concept of this device as I had never seen one before and had always kept a hand-held extinguisher in my vehicle for precaution. This device eliminates the need for that and is already "at the ready" so you don't need to stop your vehicle, grab the hand-held extinguisher, pop the hood, and hope you can get the fire out in time!I am going to add a second device within my new Laser Etcher Cabinet I made just in case!

Remember to remove the red covers when installing it. They do include a note about that, but it won't work if you leave them on. I can't really test it, since it's single-use. But it's small and has adhesive on the back. I want to put it in my boat engine compartment, but I just realized their is no place to stick it in there due to sound insulation. I'm going to ponder that, but if I give up, it's going in my RV with the batteries, electronics, inverter, and such. So many places I could use these.

I saw that this was small but when it arrived the actual contents are in a smaller case in the plastic housing. Label shows 1.1 ounce of product. And it blows out 2 sides when triggered. The smallest handheld extinguisher is 16 ounces, and they are good for only small fires. As a retired firefighter I would say this is good for little more than a match burning.
