Does anyone know where I can get a spare nut for one of the legs?

I would never buy this tripod again. I had the same issue. First week of use the leg popped off and couldn’t get it back working properly. Although a great idea for tripod, it didn’t last at all and more expensive than the others I have than have already gone overseas and lasted for years.

Is the central column in fixed extended position when open as per image 1 or fully height adjustable as per different image 2, confusing images?

When you open the tripod legs, the centre column is fixed, extended by about 22cm. It can then be extended by another 22cm. Hope this helps. It's a very nice little tripod so long as you don't expect it to be rock solid when fully extended. Brilliant for carrying on a day hike.

What is diameter of tripod in collapsed state?

Hi,in imperial its,3inches Radius,6inches Diameter,12inches Circumference. Metric is 75mm Rad 150mm Dia 300mm Circ, all dimensions are approximate. Hope this helps.
