I have purchased a couple different tools to clean my dryer vent and this one is my favorite by far! First thing you need to know is the suction tube does fit into my handheld part of my Shark TruHepa Pet Vacuum, however, it’s important to note that you must turn your vacuum on! The suction of the vacuum holds the tool in place! If your vacuum is off, you may think it isn’t fitting properly as it would just fall out. Once the vacuum is on, the tool does a great job! I use mine a lot to clean my dryer vent and other parts inside my dryer to pick up debris that has been left behind (for example, I dried a rug & had a lot of tiny debris pieces all over the dryer tub). The tube is flexible, which is nice to get around corners, just be careful not to bend it completely or you will cut off your air flow, but it will pop right back into place. The brush is nice too & does the job. We do laundry every day & lots of towels so this comes in handy a lot! I have not used it for the back of my dryer. I have used it for under the washer & dryer tho and the floor around them. (My washer & dryer are on pedestals) Highly recommend these tools!

Worked great on my dryer lint trap and pulled up a bunch of lint that had fallen back. The attachment was easy to connect to my central vacuum hose and fit very nicely into the lint trap on top of my dryer. My dryer has a poorly designed lint trap where it often falls way down into the dryer when you try to pull the trap out so this attachment may literally be a life saver for me by lowering my chances of a lint fire. The hose is flexible but firm enough to easily go down into the lint trap. The brush also helped to get lint off the dryer and clean out under my fridge.

We've already had to make a repair to our new-ish dryer after a build up of lint underneath the filter caused the filter to lift up a tiny bit - but just enough for the edge to catch on a sheet and break the lint trap. We realized that cleaning the filter with each use was not enough and we'd need to do a deep clean into those tiny crevices that are so hard to reach. I'd tried a dryer vent cleaning brush but it didn't get quite deep enough. I struggled a little to get the device set up (running hot water over it really does help!) but it worked like a dream and sucked up all the lint that has been impossible to remove so I'm happy! The only reason I removed one star is because the order comes with extra plastic adaptors for different vacuum cleaners. I'm sure this works for the company's bottom line and to increase efficiency but it's just so darn wasteful as I'm not sure what I can use these for and will likely need to toss in the trash. A few more pieces of plastic for the landfill.

Was pretty excited to get this to help keep our dryer vent clear and performing well. Unfortunately, when I first used it, I could barely get it into the dryer vent. It is not flexible at all; very stiff.

I have no complaints about this kit. Well made, very versatile for all style vacuums. I repaired washers and dryers for a living for well over 30 years and wish I had this kit in my tool box. Lint has a tendency to collect in dryers at the intake of the blower assembly, which is usually right below or near your lint filter. The rubber flexible hose does a great job of fitting down into the venting leading to the blower. It’s durable enough to bend but not kink. Long enough to reach most accumulation points of the lint. I like it. Brush seems very well made as well. But remember, it’s is rubber and if you try to bend it to much, it will, as any flexible hose will, kink. So experiment a little with it to see how much you can bend it before it kinks. All in all, it’s a handy little gadget to have.

I bought this to clean out my dryer vent, as I needed to get down deep inside. this tool did the trick. I was getting minimal lint in my dryer trap, but after using this tool to clean deep inside the lint trap, I started seeing more and more lint on the screen trap....worked great. I also used this tool to get between the grates on my house humidifier--I had to squeeze the tool end to fit through but it worked and sucked up all the debri that accumulates on the grating. I'm sure I'll find more to use it for, but in the first two weeks of having it, it was worth the purchase. It is pretty flexible

My front load LG dryer has a Flow Sensor that went off to let me know that the duct work needs to be cleaned out. I love that feature. I don’t want a fire to start. I previously bought a suction tool that is a clear plastic hose which at first looked like it would bend sufficiently for my dryer but it didn’t really bend very much. AND it wouldn’t stay tight on my hand held Oreck vacuum. It kept coming apart so it just takes up space now. Junk now. Finally I found the tool I was looking for! This tool is awesome. It has 3 rubber attachments that you can switch around anyway to fit your vacuum. My last one was one piece and wasn’t rubberized to hold tighter. I live in the cold winter weather and I followed the instructions and ran hot water on both sides of the long rubber piece until it was soft enough for the end pieces to fit. With a little pressure they fit nicely. So when it goes into the lint filter area it won’t fall off. Cost more than the others out there but they don’t work. So this is worth the cost, and the end result is I don’t worry about a fire happening.

This does exactly what it's supposed to do. Worked with my vacuum hose. I docked a star because if you're going to make this product, why not make it longer? It needs to be about 6 inches longer, in fact, to reach all the way to the bottom of my lint trap that goes behind my dryer drum. Then, if it were longer, it would actually reach clear under furniture/appliances to the wall. What's the point of making a item like this, and then not making it long enough to be 100% effective?

The vacuum hose attachment fits my shop vac perfectly and is able to clean out all of the lint from the bottom of the filter. The brush is very handy to clean.

Works great. Doesn’t fit a Dyson but I use some tape to hold it and it worked fine.
