Dorling Kindersley DK know the art of publishing books for children. And this book is no exception. This book carries the same excellence that is the hallmark of DK.That was the praise.Now the bad side.They have sworn that they wouldn't give sample pages on Amazon to enable the prospective buyer, you and me, to evaluate the book for its suitability for our children's needs.I would call this attitude careless or even callous.If you are good in one department that does not give you the excuse to be deliberately bad in some very important other department.I hope they will reconsider this frivolously raucous attitude of theirs.

The look on my son’s face on Christmas Day when he unwrapped this was priceless. It starts off very simple and hopefully will help build confidence when he covers the stuff in class. I hope the practice makes perfect rings true!

Well presented and easy to follow. Great for helping your kids if they're are struggling a bit at this level.

Bought for my granddaughter who is struggling a bit along with another two similar books and my daughter said they have definitely helped so for that alone it was worth the money which was a lot cheaper than our local bookshop.

Bought this for my son who loves working through it. He understands it and I like the gold star stickers you can award them once they finish a page AND the certificate you can create if they finish all the book.

Excellent book. My 8 year old is able just about able to manage these. Her confidence has been knocked at school so I bought them for a homework tool. It is working really well, and by working through them at home, in her own time, her confidence is gradually improving.

Quite useful if you want to do extra math with your child. We have a Math weekly session with my 7-year-old and this book forms part of it. Everyone should give it a try regardless whether your child enjoys maths or not.

Very easy to follow. My daughter can do them by herself with no help. Nice rewarding method: with stars. Perfect for vacations homework.
