really comfortable
Edit: The bra in the photo is NOT the bra in the listing! The bra in the photo is the Freya Rapture SIDE SUPPORT bra. The bra that is listed is the Freya Rapture Underwire Padded Half Cup Bra. Google image search will show you the difference -- and it's significant. This explains why I was confused about the look in my original review below. This bra's fit is a little larger than typical Freya Deco bras, but I found it true to size compared with 30DDs from other brands. As far as stars, I'm happy with it and it's aging well (with hand-washing only), and it's nice to have an option that gives serious lift that isn't a pushup bra. I don't like how much the seams show, though.ORIGINAL REVIEW:This purchase was an emergency replacement of a molded bra that was accidentally run through the wash and warped. I grabbed the first thing in my size that was on sale. The band of the 30DD fits perfectly and is very comfortable (on 28 3/4" ribs). The straps are wide and plush. On me, the cups encase quite a bit less than the photos would suggest, so it's a slinkier look than I anticipated. The support is excellent, especially for a half-cup bra, and the lining is just thick enough to hide nipples. The shape looks great with button-down shirts but, for better or worse, would probably be really distracting with a low-cut bodice. The seams are fairly prominent; close-fitting t-shirts will need an intervening tank top or cami to hide them.On the color: the "neon" is much brighter than the photos, though not all the way to safety orange. It pairs well with red, if you like your straps to show.

Fantastic for small rib size with large cup size
To say "fit as expected" isn't really accurate, because with a size of 30GG, I *expect* bras to fit very poorly. But Freya knocks it out of the park again. Their Marvel had been my absolute favorite bra I had ever had, and I was looking at their other stuff and found that this in the neon orange color (and it is orange, not soft salmon or any kind of pink. very, very orange) was only 30-something bucks! I got it in a 32GG, and it is beyond comfortable, fits perfectly, and creates the "orb" shape. It lifts, separates, and keeps me perfectly round. The absolute only drawback is that I wasn't able to get the black for the same price. I do not like the orange color. I would happily buy the black for around this price or a bit more, but if I am going pay $60+, I would just get the Marvel again.Overall, if you like the "orb" shape for breasts, this is a great bra. It's so hard to come by!

Really cute summer bra
So here is some info for the full chested ladies:(1) For comparison, I wear Prima Donna 34F. This Bra in 32G fits quite well. I tried 34 FF and 34 band was way too loose in Freya.(2) The bra provides quite a bit of support and nothing "falls out" of the bra. It is, of course, not a minimizer bra, so don't expect not to be noticed. The support is more kind of cupping your girls from the bottom if you know what I mean, not squeezing them from the sides or pushing them back like some minimizer bras. I did not have any issues with the top of the bra cup cutting into any breast tissue (which I do have a lot happening with other bras) - again, it's more of the cupping from the bottom type of fit.(3) The color is really NEON. So if you wear something white over it, it will show through. But it's a cute neon color (not a crazy-I-went-to-a-rave-party neon that I'd be too old for), so will go well under a lot of summer dresses.

Good quality, comfortable, and cute.
The Freya Rapture half-cup is lined with some padding but isn't "molded"; it's a seamed bra, not a t-shirt bra. I purchased this in a 34G which is my UK bra size and it fits true to size (doesn't run large in the band like the Freya Deco). This bra is less shallow than the Freya Marvel with wire widths similar to the Deco (in my size; this may vary). I've worn it 3 or 4 times now and it's very comfortable; however doesn't hide nipples like a molded bra, so you want to wear this with a couple layers if that's an issue for you. The lining does help and is better than a completely unlined bra.I was hesitant about the orange color, but it is really cute; it's a fun neon orange instead of traffic-cone orange which is what I feared. In the correct size this bra is sturdy; straps and band will stay put and provide excellent support. Look into finding your UK size to ensure proper fit in this bra as it will differ from American sizing in larger sizes.

Wide-set straps.
I wanted so badly to love this bra. I ordered it in the wrong size, but it seemed to fit correctly with an extender. Unfortunately, the straps are set too far apart to properly fit my shoulders. I also had some gaping at the top of the cups, presumably because I'm not full on top. That said, the neon color is surprisingly nice (and that's coming from someone who doesn't like neons or oranges very much). The padding is also really nice; it provides a good amount of coverage, which I need because winters are cold where I live, without being too thick or heavy. I just wish the straps were set closer together in the back so I could wear it comfortably.

it isn't super amazing or life-altering
This bra isn't revolutionary, it isn't super amazing or life-altering. It arrived in a shipping envelope instead of a box, so it was all smashed when I opened it up. But after wearing it for a few days, you can't tell it was ever smashed. It feels like it's made of cheap materials and feels like it will "give up" after a few months. We will see, I hope I'm wrong!!! It's not padded, but it does have a nice enough lining so you won't have any issues with colder weather...if you know what I mean. This is definitely not a t-shirt bra, the seams and lace show through most of my shirts. It's not abnormally uncomfortable, but it definitely is a relief to take it off at the end of the day. It does tend to make my back ache. I also constantly have to adjust throughout the day. I will keep it because it mostly fits. It's a little small, but the hassle of returning it will not be worth it. For reference, I ordered a 30 GG. This just really left me wanting and needing more from a bra.

Uncomfortable gore
The colour is very pretty but the fit isn't great. The cups themselves fit (30DD), but the tops of them don't lay flush with my breasts, so you can see the ridge through clothes. The gore sits right on my breastbone and the wires really bother me. I ended up altering the bra a little to fit my breasts better and to stop the centre gore wires digging into my centre breastbone. I still don't really wear it though.

Toller BH!
