These worked out great for our Thanksgiving party. Very durable. Great price for the quantity. The thickness and appearance both met standards.

I look for ways to eliminate trash, and I needed more plates than I have. These compostable plates are extremely durable. I made a very saucy baked ziti with salad and garlic bread. The 9 inch plates held the whole meal, and no mess. The utensils are durable and we have kept them to reuse. I am very satisfied with this product and will definitely purchase them again.

Plates were good but the silverware didn’t work well with hot items would bend

Was nice to have clearly compostable everything all in one! Would have liked slightly bigger plates, but with so many was fine to make trips.

The sturdiness of the forks and spoons was nice but the plates needed two to make it sturdy so it wouldn’t flop with food on it.

We have tried few different disposable and composable cutlery sets from this brand and we are very impressed.Being a nature and animal lover, I always look for environment-friendly products. We travel and camp a lot and we use lots of disposable products. We have already switched to environment-friendly paper cups and dishes and ditched plastic water bottles and I am glad to find biodegradable and compostable plates and cutlery from this brand. Even their packaging is environment-friendly. Plates are made from paper and it does not have any wax lining. They are pretty heat resistant and does not warp or bend with hot food. Cutlery is made from cornstarch and it is environment-friendly. It should be noted that though cutlery is compostable, it will take lot of time to fully compost it so it is not suitable for backyard composting and city would not allow this in green bins.Though this is totally free from plastics and made from renewable plant sources, there is no compromise on the function. Cutlery is well made, sturdy and strong. It is also safe for hot food.Overall, I am highly impressed with this product. If everybody start using such products, there will be lot less junk in earth which will be great for us as well as our next generation and also cost of such supply will come down.Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is looking for environment-friendly disposable plates and cutlery.

This is a really great complete set that’s perfect for camping, outdoor events and many other occasions. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to Walmart planning to get a set before an event and they are sold out so this is super handy to simply order it online and have it right there. The cutlery is a biodegradable plastic type material however they are super sturdy and flexible. Some plastic cutlery is very brittle and will crack easily that’s not the case with these. The plates come in two sizes and offer very thick construction. No need to worry about a plate folding while only using one hand to grab it these are very sturdy as well. Overall very happy with this set and will definitely purchase again

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nice set but I'm not sure if it's a good value. The plates feels just slightly better to the dollar store paperplate. It's slightly more rigid. Both are compostable. I poored water in both plate and left it on the counter for 3 hour. This plate felt slightly less mushy but both top coating didn't peal off. The utencil is the nicest part of this set. The fork, spoon and knife are all made of thick plastic. The spoon in particular is one of the best plastic utencil I've held. This is where the value becomes hard to judge because, I haven't seen this quality in a disposible utensil often.The environmental aspect is not very well explained. It's hard to say exactly how friendly it is as there is very little information. For example, the paper plate is marketted as compostable. However, there's no information about how it's made. The only thing I know is that its fiber comes from sugar cane. What is this fiber being treated with? What is plate coated with? Does this contain any forever chemical? The devil is in the detail and I would have love to see a sheet of paper with this information. Similarly, the utencil are made of corn starch. This is a very vague statement. The PLA I use in my 3D printer is also made of corn starch. However, it would be very ignorant to think it's environmentally friendly because it's mainly made of corn starch. There is a number of aditive that are not environmentally friendly. Also, those utencil are not compostable, it's biodegradable which are two different things. Throwing this utencil in the environment will take around 80 years to degrade. Most compost plant are not equip to deal with this sort of plastics. Again, I wish they would have played the green card better and provide more explanation how it's better. Without this, I am left to my imagination and I'm imagining that this is mostly green washing.To conclude, get this if you are looking for high quality disposable plate and utencil but maybe not just for the environmental aspect as it's not well explained.
