FLEXTAILGEAR TINY REPELLER S Mosquito Killer Lamp with 50-400 LM Light,Heating Temperature 165 ℃,4800mAh Battery Capacity, IPX5 Waterproof，Outdoor (blue）

When I received this, I started the return process within 30 mins. The battery was completely depleted and when I tried to chage it, no lights would come on. However after 30mins, the lights did start to flash. This initial charge took over 7hrs! I decided to give it a good testing to see how if performed before sending it back. These are my own personal results. Once it was fully charged I turned on both the repellent and the light on full power. This lasted continuously for 4 1/4 hrs. Then I recharged it. This time it took 4.5hrs at 5w. Then I ran it continuously with just the light on full power. This lasted 8hrs. Finally I recharged at 22w. This charge took under 2hrs. Overall I'm happy and have cancelled the return

I'm very impressed with the Tiny Repel. The bug deterrent properties are more or less as advertised, though it's not a magic bullet that will keep you completely protected from all the horrible biting insects. It's difficult to get the 'official' pads on Amazon, so I had to get some generic ones to start with. They're not bad, but I think the official ones are slightly better. But it's the camping lantern where this thing really shines (haha, geddit?). I was seriously impressed while on holiday, and we had a power cut for almost a whole day. My daughter got quite freaked out and couldn't get to sleep, so we turned on the camping light, which offered a soft, warm glow and she drifted off straight away. It was still going the next day, so the batteries held out brilliantly. Very impressed. The magnetic base is very handy for mounting it nearby. The only reason I've knocked off a star is because the buttons are very hard to use. You almost need to have Hulk-like powers to actually turn the thing on. Note that this is on the older version that I'm reviewing here. I also have the new version, and they've resolved this issue on that one. Oh, I should also note that the constant pulsing light when using the repellant can be a bit annoying in a dark room while you're trying to sleep.

We bought this to go to Peru while walking the Inca trail. Fortunately for us it was winter in Peru so we didn't see any mosquitoes! We have used it since in our campervan and while sat outside this summer and it definitely works. Inside the van it kills the mozzies, outside it repels them.

The flextail bug thing is a great bit of kit! But beware you do not get any bug pads with it!!! You will have to buy them separately. This I feel is a let down by flextail. A couple of pads to get you started would have been great.

I've used this item twice now on the 3rd time I come to use it won't charge and won't switch on I bought it in October which is 9 months ago it is still in warranty and I can't get any satisfactory results from flextail as the return date for Amazon has closed dealing with the company itself is hard to get anything done they have told me they have started a refund but they don't have my details

While this has a price tag - it’s worth every penny! I have used in Spains and Asia not suffered any bites. I also put on the red setting and it seems to work really well. It does not have noise levels. Excellent value for money for someone who the mosquito seems to love!!

The actual device is great, but note that this version doesn’t come with any repellent pads, so make sure you order those!

Used several times, while fishing overnight. Not been bitten once, they were about but wouldn’t come close. So easy to use, recharge and fit new pads and away you go.
