As acrylic powder to be applied with a brush dipped in monomer, this product works exactly as expected.Depending on which product picture you were hoping for, you May be a little disappointed in the colors. The colors match the photo of the plastic swatch nails on the pale orange background perfectly. But barely resemble the colors in the kit picture of the jars at all. I was hoping for the deeper purples and brownish reds of the kit picture, but I don't hate the colors per the picture they actually match soooo Eeeehhh.A lot of people review this as "Not for beginners". Everyone has to begin somewhere, and I can't honestly say that I think this is any better or worse an acrylic product to begin with than any other. The price is sure right.Yes, the jars are small, but small jars are actually great if you like to change your colors a lot. You aren't committed to having a ton of something that you may only use occasionally.~Don't love a color? At least you didn't spend a ton of money and you'll use it up quickly.~Hate a color? Use it up on practicing so that you don't burn up a color you love trying to get something just right.~Totally new to this? Watch a lot of videos for beginners. Invest in some cheap plastic swatch nails or a practice mat to play on before trying to do your own nails. Expect to suck at first and be patient with yourself. Get the hang of the basic idea before you try to get too fancy.

The media could not be loaded.  Glass cup huge bottle of monomer but the colors are tiny like the size of a water bottle cap but I have never gotten my nails done or done acrylic myself so I guess here's a start smell when u open the box is like walking in a nail salon so it's pretty over powering but it does come with a bunch of formers which is great and instructions with pictures.. have yet to use

I used to be a licensed manicurist and owned my own nail salon. So I knew my way around acrylic nails, not so much gels. They became more popular after I left the business. And the few times I tried them, I thought they were a lot of hype for nothing. You had to cure them with the UV lamp and they didn't work well if you wanted to make a well rounded shape of the nail. They usually looked pretty flat if the person had flat nails to begin with. that's why acrylic is better and you can shape them easier, plus it's a superior product that just works and allows you to work with it. I would recommend using the pink or clear acrylic and white if you need to, but white tips do the work for you and you don't have to waste time forming the extension white tip. I usually would do the French manicure with white tips and light pink overlay from the matrix to the tip of the nail very thin and yet keep a nice shape. Those acrylic products work much better than these color ones. I'm not quite sure what they are really. It's like they are a combination of acrylic and gel. And it dries pretty quickly so you have to work fast and not used too much product or you will have lumpy nails. You can always file them into shape, but it will take a lot longer and I find that most people will give up if it's taking too long. So it's a product I would have to work with more to know how best to use it and the size ball to start with etc. The one thing I think they need to add to the kits, instead of making you get separate are the base cleaner for the natural nail and primer. Acrylic really does need a primer to make sure it stays on. And last but not least, they need to include the top coat. There is no way you are going to end up with shiny nails without a glossy top coat. So while they show you what the nails can look like, the kit doesn't have the whole sequence of products you need. If you want to call it a starter kit then include everything it needs to get a nice finished product. Not all beginners know what they should buy extra that the kit doesn't have and the instructions aren't helpful at all. Sure it gives you the sequence but not how to actually do it and shape the nails. And for those going to manicure school to learn and get a license, they don't always know how to teach you to do it either. It just takes knowing what it's supposed to look like and practice practice practice.

I do my own nails. Have for 25 years now. Absolutely love this color palate of purples . The liquid is easy to use and will purchase again for sure Lavender use in pic. Designs hand done by me. I wish that I could buy a bigger size of just 1 of the colors. Instead of mini versions of a few I don't use . Over all bery happy with the purchase and product.

Ordered in July, was going to be part of a gift so didn't open until now. The bottle wasn't even full. Not honest product in my opinion.

At fist I was disliked it because im new to use but I learned how on tik tok and bam just like that I got it down and is the best powder no need of nail polish the color itself is beautiful but you can put a liquid polish and it comes out good, im happy I will purchase again I just wish the solution bottle was bigger
