Great little scale that is easy to read and good sensitivity. I bought this for $18.88 (nice round number...) and it is a good bang for the buck. It can take batteries as well as has a built in battery of its own, so that is very convenient. I'm using this to mix resins and plastics for casting as well as adding filler and dyes to said resins, and this is a perfect little scale for the job. Mind you it maxes out at 1kg, but for small projects it is perfect. I wish it had a clear membrane cover to protect the buttons, but for the price, that is my only complaint.

For the price I'm extremely well pleased, being that it's replacing an Outdated analog system from my deceased Mother of the late 1990's, early 2000's, with the measuring strip pilling off of the measuring wheel. I had thought that the unit from my deceased Mother would suffice! But, after miscalculating what was measured, it only force me to purchase a new & uncomplicated unit like this one. I have to say, this unit is more than enough to do the job I needed it to do! I would highly recommend this unit. It came fully charged and with a charging cable and even two AAA batteries.

I needed a small decent scale for weighing everything from food items to small metal pieces for shipping, this is very affordable and it’s wide enough to fit things of size on , yet small enough for exact accuracy, it works perfectly and is more affordable than most pocket scales. I’ve used it for a few months now and it’s holding up well and still accurate, i highly recommend this scale.

I like this scale. It is compact and easy to use for basic stuff. The instruction manual isn't the greatest, but I got what I needed from it. It shows hundredths of grams (which is what I needed). It has more features than I need, but that's OK. I really like that I can disable the auto-off. At first I was worried because it didn't have a "hold" function. But as long as it doesn't auto-off, that will work for me. My biggest complaint is that the scale takes a while to make up its mind about the weight. I am using it to measure herbs and spices and, as I add materials, I often end up adding too much because the scale hasn't caught up yet. Then sometimes, I take everything off and put it back on and get a very slightly (like hundredths of grams) different weight. When I repeat taking off and putting on, it is consistent. I don't have enough experience with scientific scales to know if this is normal or not. My minor complaint is that I need to use 2 scales for cooking/baking. One for flour and larger amounts and one for herbs and spices that don't even register on my old scale. However, I don't think there is a solution for that.

Sleek, simple and easy to read. Dual energy options of usb port charging or batteries. For the price it’s sturdy and durable enough for daily use. I suggest calibrating after harsh weight or foolish misuse. Not an ideal portable device though can be transported easily. A great deal for the $10 -ish price point. Happily satisfied.

It does not work properly. Giving wrong weight and the tare is not working either. It does not sit flat so the place it's not touching gives the least weight.

MEIYA1000g/0.01g - High accuracy, good brand selling in Europe, has all necessary features (tare, calibration on different weights, autocalibration, etc.) + all possible measurement units (=RARE), rechargeable internal USB battery (remove regular batteries before charging internal battery; after charging you can put them back but not necessary), 2 different bowls ((probably they made from BPA but don't let food contact them - put paper (then throw it away) on bowl (don't forget to tare/calibrate with that paper), or use your own bowls)). For preserving accuracy after use don't leave anything on measurement surface of scale and watch that nothing touched/pressed it.
