great twin voltage travel dryer
The media could not be loaded. Terviiix Mini Portable Travel Hair Dryer **** ratingThis is advertised as "for kids" - but I say for adults too. Summer holidays are coming - and with the rising cost of living we will be staying much more in budget hotels, so I can't expect a hairdryer in every room! This dryer has come at the ideal time.Pros ✅ input covers both Europe (220-240v) and the USA (110-120v). The 1000w output is good - it's the same as my large main dryer, and explains why it works well. The cone nozzle fits easily - and with that I can direct the warm air well enough to style with this held at arm's lengthConstruction seems good - the cable is tough and the switches all have a positive "click" to them. A big bonus - the cable is extra long at 190cm.Cons ❌ It's a bit noisy - check out my video to hear it in action - but it costs a fraction of the ultra-quiet Dyson type dryers that come in at near £400, so I can live with it.On the subject of costs - this brand looks great, but Amazon UK does have other dual-voltage dryers on sale for half the price of this brand (and some of them have folding handles that can be a help when squeezing these into carry on luggage). So I say this is a 5-star device at 3-star pricing, overall = 4 x **** rating

Not safe as an electrical appliance for children
Very unhappy at the electrical safety. It blew the upstairs sockets in my child’s (2 year old) bedroom and shorted the circuit, as the hairdryer sparked.I tried it again downstairs thinking it could have been the socket in my daughters room, but it blew downstairs sockets and sparked again. Returning tomorrow. I am happy I held it in my daughters room and not her. Safety should be paramount and it is not in this case.
