This is a dark romance story with a unique twist
After being kidnapped Mia seeks information on those responsible. However, the more information she finds out about these men, the more she wishes she could run away.I have read my fair share of stories involving cults and this definitely is a different approach and I really enjoyed it. This story definitely was well written with a gripping plot and the plot twists were written incredibly - with me reading a lot I tend to be able to guess what’s going to happen within the story, I wasn’t able to guess with this one and I didn’t expect them whatsoever.. the more I got into this the more I couldn’t put this book down until I had finished it. It is a long story but don’t let that put you off however, I did feel the book could have been longer. There was parts which I wanted more information and more background but that’s probably just me becoming obsessed with a unhinged MMC as per usual.Mia is a strong and beautiful character. I fell in love with her straight away, she faces challenges alone and she isn’t afraid to stand up for herself. I felt strongly connected to her and parts of her character resembled myself. It is so refreshing to have such a strong independent female lead in a dark romance, I really enjoyed falling in love with her and witnessing her character growth throughout. Opposite to Mia, Sacha definitely is something else. I’m in a love/hate relationship with this man. He is strong, powerful, dominating, intelligent, does not take no for an answer, isn’t afraid to put you in your place (and he will no matter how) and dare I say, sexy character. The majority of the book I honestly wanted to punch him in the face but I also learnt to love him too. He is a unique character and I really enjoyed who he was and what he stood for. I adore these two characters together and I loved witnessing the chemistry and relationship the two have between each other grow.As mentioned previously, this is a dark romance and it definitely isn’t for everyone. Please be aware of what you are reading before you read it. If you have no triggers, please give these two a chance. This is my first story from this author and it definitely won’t be my last.🖤 Stockholm syndrome🖤 Drug use🖤 Forced Proximity🖤 Touch her and die🖤 Unapologetic psycho MMC🖤 Degradation🖤 Primal

mixed feelings
I’m really not sure about this book, so I’ll start with the things I enjoyed. Firstly the way it’s written is incredibly easy to follow and flows beautifully, the spicy scenes are great and I liked that Sasha was dark through to the end.So on to the things that I didn’t like, our MC just seems desperate at the start, and not in the emotive sense, just overly desperate for Sasha, and why? Who knows. It’s odd that’s shes completely unfazed that some major trauma has happened and she’s just been kidnapped. I don’t know, this book overall is just lacking something, and I thought there was going to be something deeper relating to the cult, and it just never came.

Woah!!!
Amazing!! Please read tw. It's been awhile since I read a book and felt All the emotions after reading it. An emotional rollercoaster. The H is a psychopath and I'm not sure about the end to be honest. But read it please it's a good read emotionally the author really did well with the psychological aspect of both main characters. I will definitely be looking for more books from this author.😊

Superb
I wasn't sure I was going to like this book at first but it grew on me to the stage where I couldn't put it down. Sacha is definitely an anti-hero but within his depths is a loyal, possessive passionate man. I love Mia, her poor tortured character made me really feel for her in her confused and terribly anxious state. I loved the heated (hot, hot & hotter) scenes in this book they were almost magma for my poor melting kindle, lots of lovely kinks. The story was completely absorbing, the characters were alive in this book. I loved the ending, I thought it was perfect. A superbly well written book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done 😍😍

Another all nighter
This is a super dark and complex read. It's truly a very Occult book. There are many books that are themed with the Occult running through the storyline but this is heavy. It's an intense psychological experience. The fmc has no memory of her life just a few days before. Mia is a young American woman. She's homeless. She is starved for not only the basic things of humanity but she has no place to be. It's a fascinating experience of the wandering journey of amnesia and waking the f up. Upon meeting Sascha, a dark Russian man with incredible magnetic pull, she knows in her heart that he's very different. He's demanding and uncompromising. He needs her for something that she doesn't know about. There is plenty of angst but it's tolerable in the way it's a natural dance of indecision. A young woman with sleep walking and black out terrors finds comfort in the arms of her captor. As she learns more about the life Sascha doesn't keep a secret, she falls for him. To her his passionate beliefs prove his passion for something greater even if it's not the traditional sense. He's dark. He's dangerous. There are so many ways that he terrifies her but it's the outside world that scares her more. The Occult beats heavy and constant. It's not a secret society or a dystopian cult. This is a religion and a lifestyle that the characters do not hide in dark caves. They adorn homes with the paintings and statues of worship. Of course there's an altar yesssss. And such nasty and hotttt things happen on it.With the absolute perfect length of this book it's written so well that I couldn't put it down. I love a great standalone that has real meat in it's story. Yes this is a terrifying story of consuming, heavy heat and dark depravity it's raunchy but defined. It's a push into those flexible boundaries that exist in our minds and I jump for joy when I read it.

Very intense
The story behind this book was a good one, I have to rate it a 4 because of the ending. I was hoping for more after all the degrading aspects, it was much for me to handle but only because I'm not a fan of it. I just wish Sacha made Up for it all.

Umm, what did I just read???
This book had me in an absolute chokehold. Do not read if you’re faint hearted haha. It was dark and sweet and gritty and I am officially obsessed. Sacha was the epitome of morally grey. Well, he bordered on just straight up morally black. Perfect guy you love to hate.
