PRO: Best system for the price point. You’ll find nicer kits for more money, but for this price point, they put the quality where it counts. Roller bearings for the slider, gas springs for the soft close mechanism, and tapered blocks for the bottom guide (so the paint doesn’t rub off). I’d buy this kit again. CON: the instructions took an afternoon to digest and figure out. They aren’t the best. But once you figure out what’s happening, the install goes quickly for subsequent installs.

I went into this project with great hesitation, and I really did not want a pocket door. Once I put my plan together and got this kit, kind of as a value package, I have to say I am extremely impressed! The build quality of this is very great with the quality of wood and metal that they chose and how square and well assembled everything is. The slow clothes feature is very, very nice, gives it a nice glides and is also adjustable with where it triggers to shut softly. This pocket door definitely became almost a centerpiece of the project with how well it turned out and though it’s not finished in the pictures, it works well and was definitely a great budget option, especially for a DIY’er!!

This is a great sliding door kit. Easy to assemble and a good price. The hangers have easily held a 70lb solid wood door. Everything fit together well. Will definitely purchase again

Fit was great, and assembly was fairly easy. The instructions are pretty good and easy to follow. I'm confident it will hold up well. However, the product came premarked for cutting for a 24" door (which is what I'm using). One of the marks was correct but one was off by a lot. I did my own measuring so it was fine but just be warned, don't assume the marks are right. Second, I recommend pre drilling for the screws that go into the header. The wood used can split pretty easily.

soft close works great. very easy install for a carpenter

This is by far the worst design I have ever seen. You would be better off finding a few pallets and throwing a door into the middle of them; that is how bad it is. Even after installation, the wall wobbles. I tried using fire-board and glue with one installation, and it still wobbles. My first install came with broken install parts. The company hasn't gotten back to me yet; it has been weeks. The installation instructions are horrible, and using other instructions is challenging since the setup is so backwards. Good luck with this one.

Solid , smooth operation easy install

This is a great product. Very easy to install. The slow close feature is really nice.

Kit was definitely nicer then the old wore out one I replaced. The steel bars seems sturdier then the wood kind. Too bad the kit doesn't included the self tapping screws needed for steel supports had to make a trip to hardware store. Soft close is nice feature but does make a little harder for small kids to close door. I hate pocket doors for the fact you got to tear down walls to fix or replace so if your unsure or unhandy you might want to hire this job out lol.

Installed this following the detailed instructions and had absolutely no issues. I’ve heard installing pocket doors are an absolute pain in the backside however, I had no issues and it went very smoothly. Highly recommend.

Easy installation. The soft close feature is amazing.

The kit itself seems like decent quality and the instructions are fairly clear. Disappointed in the softclose mechanism though. It's a nice feature in a pocket door but does not open and close smoothly. It takes too much pressure to open or close the door and the door actually rocks in the guide track. It may work better with a heavier door but doesn't work well with a hollow core. My client has asked that I deactivate the softclose mechanism.
