Easy to use, just plug it in. Worked for my 2025 Jeep Gladiator and 2020 BMW M2. On the Gladiator I reset the halogen lights to LED and on the BMW I was able to "register" my new battery. Saved me alot of money from paying dealer. Works with JScan (iPhone) on the Jeep and with BimmerLink on the BMW. Recommended.

Wow. These are so much better than the old strictly DTC code readers I was able to easily check and monitor the short term and long term fuel trims (STFT/LTFT) on my son’s car which enabled troubleshooting of a persistent P0071 too lean condition. I use it with the CAR SCANNER PRO app which can be had for free or upgraded to pro like I did for a one time payment of like $15. So many parameters can be monitored and added to a custom dashboard so you can watch them live even.

I am very impressed with this interface for several reasons. I use iPhones, and choices for these devices are fewer than with Androids. It can also use wi-fi OR bluetooth 4.0 to connect to your device. I'm most impressed with the amount of information that this device is able to harvest from the car's computers. I have a 2008 Prius, as well as a 2000 Nissan truck. I downloaded 2 free apps and paid for one - all at the APP Store. I also purchased Toyota enhanced capabilities for the year 2008 for $9.99 on the app named "OBD Fusion". It is the closest to the "Torque" app (not available for IOS) I could find, after reading reviews on all choices available for IOS. I also have "Mr. Prius" as well as "Car Scanner". All 3 apps were able to connect to the Veepeak without any problems - just takes a few seconds. Each app has its unique quirks, and I use OBD Fusion the majority of the time. This app gives me Prius-specific data on the hybrid system and traction battery, and the amount of information available is mind-boggling, esp. on a 12 year old car. I've also used the Veepeak on a couple of friends vehicles, and it performs flawlessly. You need to input the vehicle's information into the app once, and the vehicle will be saved for future use. Additionally, the device works with your phone and can link certain PIDs to your travel route and display on a map. The Veepeak can NOT be used for bidirectional commands, like for bleeding brakes (don't think any of these dongles can do this). Any trouble codes can be erased and can also communicate with the transmission, SRS, hybrid, and ABS ECUs, and several more, depending on if you added enhanced diagnostics to the app. There is no monthly charge for the Veepeak or the OBD Fusion app - just a one time payment < $10 for the OBD Fusion app, and it's worth every dime. Car scanner also works well with the Veepeak, as well as Dr. Prius. I got 6 months added to the 1 year warranty by registering the device on their website. YOU MUST READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY PRIOR TO USING! Connecting to the Veepeak using bluetooth or wifi involve different procedures for different phones and one needs to use the method specific for their phone. Example: connecting via bluetooth for iPhones is done through the app, and not in the "settings" menu.

Works week with Ram Promaster 1500 van. Took a bit to get it connected, but after that reliable. Doesn’t seem to drain the battery to leave in all the time. Would be nicer if it had an altitude reading, my last one did and I didn’t realize that wasn’t a standard engine reading. Use it for a digital speedometer on 2019 van

I am using this in a 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 3.0 LZO diesel and the ODB Fusion app on my iphone. I am very happy with this setup. I am now able to see when the truck is in regen as well as exhaust temperatures right on the CarPlay screen. In addition to these PIDs, I can see a bunch of other info from the computer. The app is very adjustable to see different features on the screen. The scanner provides a ton of information. Setup was fairly easy as well. Recommend!

I have a 2019 Toyota Prius LE and I bought this product to check the condition and life expectancy on my hybrid battery. My car has 114k miles on it. I had to download the DR Prius app to use it and if you want to run the battery and life expectancy tests you have to pay $13.99. It took a little time to connect but it worked great. I highly recommend this product.

Bought to read oil temperatures while driving, then i was going to return it, turns out it was a user error and i was using an APP that didn't read oil temperatures, anyways after getting a different app, this thing is amazing, i drove over a train track and my CEL came on whilst driving, i scanned it immediately and it was just an exhaust leak cleared it and been running good ever since, been connected on my car since i had it and it is great. affordable and the connection is stable as long as you have the app open.
