Excellent Softbox Lighting Kit for Home Studio!
This Torjim softbox kit exceeded my expectations! The setup was super easy, and the lights are surprisingly bright and adjustable. I love that the color temperature can be changed from warm to cool—perfect for switching between photo shoots, video calls, and live streaming. The 16” x 16” softboxes diffuse the light beautifully, giving a professional, flattering look without harsh shadows. The stands feel sturdy and stable, and everything fits neatly in the included bag for storage or travel. For the price, this kit is an incredible value. Whether you’re a beginner photographer or content creator, this lighting setup makes a huge difference in quality!

These worked great for the budget I had! If this is what you can afford, these ones will do the job.
I needed something on a budget that would do the job - and this was it! I got two for either side of my clients room/profile and it worked great. Especially considering the only light prior was from ceiling lights and windows, you don’t consider the shadows these cast on a face until it’s too late😅😂 These have several settings for warm or cool light and you can make the light as bright or soft as you need. Once put in their place, their stability was good, especially for the money, not insane but definitely worthy. I didn’t have to touch them throughout shooting. It was pretty easy to figure out the setup and year down and doesn’t take too much time. The bags are very helpful for carrying and storing everything together. These ones are worth the cost, definitely glad these are the ones I bought.

Decent light duty soft light.
I bought a pair of these lights to film videos interviews. For a standard head/chest shot they provide decent key/fill lighting but to do this they need to be relatively close. You won't be able to do any full body shots as these would need to be too close and would be in frame. These are definitely light duty lights and stands and would not stand up to significant production work. The lights require the included led remote so don't lose it as there is no way to change color temperature or intensity on the light itself, which is incredibly annoying. All in all these are decent lights which were adequate for my use case, but I don't expect to be able to reuse then on larger projects.

Perfect, in addition to my small studio.
It's a relief to have found a solution to my problem with dark, shadowy photos. The Torjim Softbox Photography Lighting Kit, 16" x 16" is perfect, as I only have one LED ring light and have had many problems with my photos due to a lack of light or shadows. This softbox kit, despite its size, is surprisingly portable and an ideal addition to my small studio. Its compact design allows me to set it up anywhere, solving my problem with photos that are too dark or too light, and saving me time on editing. It is very easy to assemble and use, and it is built with quality materials. The tripod is sturdy and offers three extension modes: 47, 59, and 71 inches. Equipped with an 85W energy-efficient bulb, with an operating temperature range of 3000-7500K. The inclusion of a remote control adds convenience, making it easy to operate and switch the light to the required mode. In short, the Torjim Softbox Photography Lighting Kit, 16" x 16" exceeded my expectations. I am delighted with the purchase, especially since I found it on sale for 20% off: $39.99. It's an excellent value for the quality and features it offers. I highly recommend it and give it a solid 5/5. Note: I kept the box the bulb came in for when I need to pack the device in my bag; I put the bulb in there to keep it safe.

Good light for the price
Top tier quality. The brightness can be overwhelming if used in a closed space but it is truly amazing for photos. It’s light so it’s not much of a hassle.

Wrong Wattage! Actually 1/2 to 1/4 the brightness of an 85w Bulb!
Okay, so I'm not great at math, but I figure that when you say, "85w" that you actually mean 85 watts... done, right? Nope! There should be a giant asterisk at the end of that. Two, actually. Here's the reason: Cons: 1) 85 watts is accurate on 240v, which is, I'm sure, how this bulb was rated. In that respect, it appears it would actually make that. But, this is America. In America, where we have the plugs this attaches to, we get 120v. What does that mean? Again, bad at math, but I googled it. Turns out that half of 85 is 42.5. That's what I was getting, almost, out of my bulb. And here's the kicker. What appears to be the same bulb is advertised as 40w from other Amazon brands and sellers. So, it's a known thing. But wait, there's more! 2) You only get the "full" 42.5 watts when it's set on 5,000K (the middle of the color temp range). I presume there are two sets of LED's in this with one being 3,000 Kelvin and the other being 7,000 Kelvin. Only by running both at full power do you get 5,000K and full brightness. What does that mean? First, this is a 21-Watt bulb in America unless you're on 5,000 K. That limits you on full brightness to one color temp. I'll discuss the second reason below. Pros: 1) Well, because you're only drawing HALF of the rated power in America, the bulb will last much longer. The individual LED's won't heat up and degrade as fast. So, it'll be half as bright but maybe last 4 times as long? 2) Setup was a breeze and the umbrella actually deployed like an umbrella and seems sturdy enough. While the 'tripod' was flimsy, they are all buying them from the same supplier, so you get what everybody else gets. I, for one, have a regular 1/4-20 attachment for QD's on a proper tripod that doesn't feel like it's falling over all the time. Final verdict? Hey, it's better than the one I had. Smaller for my studio and easier to transport. Seems like it should last as long as the 8-years that my last studio light did. Kinda wish they wouldn't have lied in their ad.

Perfect Fit for Any Studio Setup—Highly Recommend!
I recently got the Torjim Softbox Photography Lighting Kit (16'' x 16'') and it has completely upgraded my photography setup. The quality of the kit is impressive it feels professional and reliable right out of the box. The sturdiness is excellent; the softboxes and stands are solid and stable, so I don’t have to worry about them tipping over during shoots. The height is adjustable and fits perfectly for both sitting and standing setups, making it versatile for different types of shoots. The material quality is top-notch; the softbox fabric is durable, and the LED bulbs feel well-made. The lighting quality is fantastic the 85W LED bulbs provide bright, consistent light with adjustable color temperature from 3000-7500K, which makes portraits, videos, and live streaming look professional. Everything fits together easily, making setup and storage straightforward. Overall, this kit is an excellent investment for anyone looking to improve their photography or video lighting.
