price build quality ease of set up checks all these boxes and more
Heads up this little screen is capable of 1920x1080p and runs at 60hrz at 800x400 (recommended) res it runs at 75.5hrz It is a much more capable display than the advertised. It is not touch screen and makes no claim to be so. Set up is super simple. The build quality is well this sucker is nice and heavy for how small it is build quality is top notch for what build there is. It is a naked display just the screen and board with no shell it it's own. I will at some point buy a second one of thse so long as it does not spontaneously die i see no reason why it would it is a nice little unit and i have some fun build ideas for it. I doubt the color accuracy is very high not going to check as it is just a 7 inch display. As far as my build idea i have a tivo stream 4k so it + custom power bank + nice wooden shell with a flat short hdmi cable = mini travel smart tv because why the heck not? The viewing angles on it are uh i straight up can not believe it. And yes that 1 photo is from as close to directly on edge from the top as i could get and still have it show on camera. This sucker has viewing angles that are just straight up nuts! If it fails and i seriously doubt it will i will update the review

This is exactly what I needed, look no further, buy it now before I get the whole stock!
I rarely write any reviews but this product exceeded my expectations and beyond! Prior to this I purchased a 1024x600 7in monitor from a different seller that drew too much power so it kept disconnecting/reconnecting when plugged into a single USB 2.0 port and as such it comes with a y-cable to attach to two ports. However, this 800x480 monitor is able to draw power from a single USB 2.0 port and this is important because I only have 2 spare USB ports on my motherboard on the inside of the case and I need one to power a USB-Hdmi adapter which this small monitor is connected to. I really didn’t want cables to run from the inside of the case to the outside to connect to HDMI as that will be less aesthetic. The resolution is as expected but overall fulfills my needs and will absolutely be purchasing again to mount on my sister’s PC and possibly my brother if I have spare parts. Even though this comes with a stand, I do wish a mount was available but it is absolutely not expected. Get this monitor if you only want to sacrifice one USB port! So far no issues and hasn’t disconnected and the colors as you can see are pretty solid even with an USB-HDMI adapter.

Good little screen, but note that back is not enclosed
I bought this little screen to connect to the HDMI output of my universal disc player (to navigate on screen menus while in a home audio setting). It works well and the picture quality is fine for this purpose. It included the necessary usb cord for power (I’m using an old iPhone plug for wall connection, and also included an HDMI cable. There is also a little stand that enables you to stand the screen up. The unit has an open back, however, exposing the internals. This is not suitable to hold while using, or for kids. It’s not like an iPad or tablet that is enclosed. It’s designed to be propped up in its stand, or perhaps installed in another object (car seat headrest?).

Poorly made and very fragile.
Poorly made product. Non functioning and incredibly fragile. I was pretty excited to find someone small to accommodate my desktop. The second screen would have been used for something simple like watching YouTube or putting a stream on off the side. When I opened the package, the screen part looked good. However, when I flipped it over, I noticed all the circuitry just protruding from the back of it. You would think that if a product has something that like it would have a case covering it or at least taped over. I also noticed the HDMI and the Micro USB slots not really attached in place. Plugging and unplugging any cords requires a gentle touch as you can accidentally just break the plugs off. Tried hooking it up to my monitor and my Nintendo Switch. Couldn't get a signal on either. I figured it may have been the cords so I used different HDMI and Micro USB to see if that made a difference. It did not. So not only does it feel flimsy but it also doesn't even do the main function I purchased it for. When I turn it on, it just says "No signal" and then goes into Energy saving mode before turning itself off. Save yourself the time and purchase something else. This wasn't worth the money for me and I was disappointed in myself for getting excited about it.

Good screen, good price
Great little monitor for a raspberry pi. Durability probably isn’t what you’re going for if you buy this, but it’s not like it’s going to break extremely easily. The display looks great, and it comes with an HDMI cord, and a micro usb cord. Unfortunately a pisugar 3 plus short circuited my pi, so I’m not sure when I’ll use this again.

Great little monitor
I got this for using with my scratch built long range quadcopter. (Drone) it has a HD Zero video system in it and wanted a small screen capable of the HD video feed for letting others see the video at the same time I am. It works really well for this and as it can be powered from a power brick it is a much easier solution than my 12v dc 19” monitor as well as being easier to pack up and move. I will have to build a case for it as there is exposed components on the back but, it works great. I could also see this as a great monitor to turn a PlayStation or XBox into a portable system.
