Good Stuff!
Needed this for the color. Printed a red poodle and this was a great color match. I do think this is a little brittle compared to regular PLA, but printed really well. Would recommend.

Excellent choice for wood parts
I use this wood PLA to make small parts for a model ship I'm building. Designing the parts in CAD and 3D printing them is much faster and easier than carving the pieces from wood and then staining them. This material tends to string a lot but the strings can easily be trimmed from the pieces I'm making. I use a 0.4mm nozzle and have not had any blockages. The colors closely match the wood I'm using and cover a good range of wood colors. The fineness of the printed pieces is good, as you can see from the photos.

My new favorite filament!!
I cannot wait to order more of this stuff! My Bambu P1S prints it perfectly and my whole printer room smells like freshly worked wood. Worth every penny!

Great stuff but tricky and needs thoughtful printing
I had total success using .6mm nozzle and only printing decorative non-structural sections of this project. This custom picture frame is mostly basic brown PLA with the OVV3D Wood (Redwood and Oak) fused nicely on the upper layers. It feels and smells like wood! Very nice! I like this filament, but it is rough, inconsistent, and makes fragile prints. It may clog .4mm nozzle too easily, so stick with .6mm which allows a lower nozzle temp of 190C. Dry it well before use, even fresh from the package. So, print only decorative surfaces and you will be fine. Print structural stuff with basic PLA first and layer on the OVV3D Wood filament or print separate pieces for gluing on later. That will save costs too - print only what needs to visibly wooden and you'll be fine. Not for beginners.

Great Filament!
I needed a few shades of brown for a project and these spools did not disappoint! They printed wonderfully! *Just be aware that these are not 1KG spools and they are too small to fit into the AMS of a Bambu printer*

Worth the money
Lots of product for the money.

Don't buy!!
I will never buy this filament again. I was fairly new to 3D printing when I ordered it, I thought it would be fun to try some different colors. However, when using it, no matter how much I researched how to change the settings to fix the issues that kept happening, the filament continued to break, not stick to the table, and be extremely stringy. There is no way to fix this issue, and for that I would never buy this again. I bought some other filament from an official brand and I've had no issues with it at all. Save your money, buy an official brand. This one kinda sucks

Does it's job, needs fine tuning
Let me first say this is the first filament I've ever bought that has wood in it. I definitely was new to this and this filament was my intro to the world of infused filaments. Now, I've had both really good and really bad things to say so let's start off with pros. Pros: Has a great finish when it prints (super smooth and layer lines are almost invisible. Seems like that's the wood fibers filling in the rough print edges) as well as the feel and smell. When printing my room smells like a lumber mill and the print itself feels like a peice of wood that was rough sanded. Really authentic stuff. Cons: This filament is VERY brittle, even when dry, so be gentle when loading it and make sure your printer settings accommodate for a softer filament. On top of this, the filament is also very susceptible to heat creep. In a 4 hr print, I had to remove my bowden tube off of my ender 3 and load in a new section of filament probably 10 times. I've found that a lower temp allows the filament to soften but still maintain rigidity up until the nozzle so keeping it at 190C helps alot with preventing heat creep. Also the clogging is a menace! Lower your speeds of printing and it should be fine which will allow the fibers to travel with the filament rather than get clogged in the nozzle (this filament makes a lot of clogs if you dont know what youre doing). What I found is if you follow the manufacturers settings and use the lower threshold, the greater success you'll have with this filament. Also your prints will be VERY soft so do not print this for strength, only for show. Overall it's not horrible. Would I buy again? Probably not given the troubles this filament gave me with the brittleness amongst other things and also the value for the money isn't great given that you can buy a 1kg roll of some other brand for some more but who knows, maybe as I continue to use it, ill change my mind. This filament definitely isn't for beginners starting 3D printing though.
