Since they are battery powered, they make great wearable lights. I did that plus decorated my drums for a music video. Colors look really nice!

Love these lights. So nice for the holidays. I even put them around my TV for Christmas.

I had wanted not only battery operated but also with a timer. My bad. But am using it for the beautiful soft colors which brighten up the house without using electricity. It took some effort to remove the twists holding it together. At first it was difficult to open each battery box but finally got it open. It needed to be gently squeezed to release the slide. I'm using some on my small table top Christmas tree and leaving it on till next year. Hope it will still be working.

I gave a bunch of these to my employees to decorate our factory with during the winter holidays. It was an absolute hit. The colors are a little different from typical holiday lights but they still looked great for the season. They would fit spring colors well, also. They're nice and bright. There's a solid and a simultaneous blink mode. The batteries lasted an impressive four months. I'll be buying more next season, to be sure. These are not remote-controlled. I'm not sure why that's a review topic.

I was using the lights on wreaths and i was difficult to unwind te lights onto the wreaths.

Very nice light set. My second purchase. They work great and the size of the lights are the right size for my 12 inch Christmas 🎄. One set of four only had three in the box, probably an unfortunate warehouse incident with sticky fingers.

In the past I have used elwire to light up my bicycle, hat, costumes and tent. The problem with elwire is that you have to tape it to the areas you want it to hold and they tend to crap out easily, loosing light in areas and they have a noticeable buzzing to them. The copper wire on THESE lights is bendable, making them easy to attach to your bike or wrap around your body. They are VERY PRETTY and easy to wrap up for storage AND they don't get tangled. I have owned many different kinds of battery operated lights and these are by far my favorite, so far! I wish they didn't take three AA batteries, but I have owned some that take C batteries, so I can deal. I would recommend these to festival goers, or someone who needs them as a centerpiece for a party. I wouldn't recommend these to someone who wants to hang lights in their backyard or for nightly lighting. If you are looking for something like that: I would highly recommend solar or lights that plug in. Overall, I love these beautiful lights and I can't wait to use them for my next costume or bike ride!
