This tripod has surpassed my expectations! It's works perfectly with my Sony ZV-E10. We're getting awesome footage of our dancers at our studio. Smooth operation, even from just an amateur videographer. Battery life is long. The only thing that was a challenge was getting it balanced, but that's the case with nearly every gimbal.

Purchased this just shy of 1 year. I wanted to make a review once I had plenty of time to test it. Pros: the l.e.d light is grea! (It ends there) Cons: the phone mount doesn't fit modern phones with case's. Phones are a expensive investment and I for one won't remove my case on my fragile 1400 dollar phone to risk a drop mounting it on a 300 dollar gimble. I tested the phone mount without a case on a spare phoe I had. It did fit and the phone mount also pushed up my screen protector. I used this gimble one time at a exotic car show in all this time. It balanced my spare phone for about 15 minutes and then just went limp. Powered it off and on and got another 15 minutes until it went limp. Due to that experience I have not used it since. I tried mounting my sony a74 camera and it vibrates so bad you would think your holding a jack hammer and after the vibration stops it goes limp. I tried a sony action camera and it again goes limp. This is my first and last zihyun as it was a 300 dollar desk top dust collector. I decided to leave this review since I'm on here looking for its replacement for a gimble that actually works. Hohem isteady M6 for the win. Do your self a favor. Stay clear, Dji and hohem are the ones to look at.

Great Product, solid design, beautiful aesthetics

The quick release plate is horrible as the slightest touch makes your camera shoot off and crash to the ground. Had to return it for this reason as you can't practically carry it between shooting without bumping the plate. Needs to have a lock slider. Otherwise the gimbal was excellent so too bad this design flaw ruined it

I initially bought this for my iPhone 13 Pro max with smallrig cage with two handles, top handle and microphone. It is within the weight limits but it would not hold the balance. It would work for a few minutes but as soon as I would walk it would just go all floppy. So being the genius I am I bought $1000 worth of mirrorlesss camera and lenses as well as the small rig cage. It seemed easier to calibrate but I ran into the same issue. I’d be walking and recording and out of the blue the camera would just roll over. It’s not worth the aggravation. I’m 109#¥% jealous of those that say this work for them but I am also suspicious that it doesn’t really work as well as it is advertised and people tend to not want to admit something doesn’t work because they feel like it’s a slight on them. I could be way off base but it just isn’t as stable as I believe if should be.

Great compact gimbal for compact camera setup. Only thing I dislike about it is when closing up to store really has to reset all settings so when take out of bag again I need to rebalance. But without rebalance and just lock the axis. The gimbal itself is in the awkward shape not very easy to fit into bags. Defeated its purpose of being portable for travel. I would suggest at vertical axis arm allows additional length adjustment so when fold everything with already balanced settings

Works perfectly with Canon M50. However no pairing available for the gimbal and camera. Recording must be done manually on the camera.

this is the best gimbal stabilizer for mobile content creators! once is balanced you will never need to rebalance it unless you changes camera lens. Living in Japan using the train system, you need a gimbal that is small, light and consistently effective. The Zhiyun Crane M3S checks all the boxes! I use a Canon R50 camera with a Canon 24mm F1.8 Prime Lens.

Barely ZVE10 with 11mm lens (less than 700g) and the results are unsatisfactory, now picture the youtubers putting a bigger weight... of course, the get the gear free and have to say something...to continue getting free stuff, that is why 90+% of them are not believable. I've been more than half a century in the bizz, now you are surrounded by lies. Perhaps good for a phone but there are cheaper alternatives.

Gimbal mit sehr gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wenn es mal richtig eingestellt ist (hängt von der Kamera mit Objektiv wegen Schwerpunkt ab), funktioniert es einwandfrei.

Credo che Zhiyun abbia smesso di inseguire DJI e sta tirando fuori ottimi prodotti innovativi (vedi led, linea Molus straordinari). Utilizzo da sempre DJI ma il mio primo gimbal fu un Zhiyun ma all'epoca il prodotto non era maturo... Mi ha incuriosito questo M3S per la leggerezza (750g) e la capacità di gestire mirrorless non leggerissime. Pur avendo un DJI bello sostanzioso che sicuramente è affidabile e consente carichi importanti avevo la necessità per alcuni lavori (soprattutto wedding) di ridurre i pesi e anche se un po' scettico ho ordinato questo gimbal che mi è arrivato poche ore fa. Quindi recensione a caldo, è probabile che debba aggiornarla ma parto comunque con le 5 stelle. Il modello che ho preso è il modello base che comunque arriva in una confezione sigillata in cartone bianco con all'interno una scatola in plastica sagomata che è anche una pratica borsa. Dentro l'M3S, piccolo treppiede, cavi USB vari, manuale e stop. Tirato fuori dalla scatola l'ho messo in carica, era a metà ma in poco tempo ha raggiunto il 100% e così l'ho provato immediatamente. La macchina è una Fuji X-H2S (700g) e l'ottica un prime, Tokina 23 mm. A guardare la macchina e il gimbal veramente compatto e leggerissimo si fa fatica a credere che ce la farà... Nel bilanciamento meccanico qualche gioco di troppo e la sensazione di un prodotto un po' giocattoloso e quindi il dubbio che andasse tutto bene mi è venuto. Una volta bilanciato meccanicamente ho acceso il gimbal. Appena l'elettronica ha fatto il suo e dopo un auto-tune semplice e veloce i dubbi sono spariti e anche quel senso di prodotto economico. Bilanciamento perfetto, menù ricco di opzioni e di facile accesso. Ottima la luce led di riempimento che se regolata bene fa il suo dovere senza fare perdere naturalezza all'immagine. Sono rimasto veramente colpito da questa prima prova estremamente positiva. Domani proverò con il 16-55 f2.8 fuji e anche l'abbinamento Bluetooth con la camera per gestire senza cavi il rec. Lo stupore è nella leggerezza che vi ritroverete in mano e la perfetta stabilizzazione in qualsiasi movimento anche in low mode. Spero con i prossimi test di confermare le cinque stelle. (Tutti si chiedono quanto carico porta ma Zhiyun non lo dice. Dal riferimento che fa sul sito di una Sony A7 e relativa ottica si deduce circa un kg. Mentre su un noto sito di e-commerce americano (specializzato in foto e video) si parla di 1,2 kg. Secondo me c'è margine per salire sopra il kg e nei prossimi giorni lo testerò). AGGIORNAMENTO 21/07/2023 La Fuji XH2S non è compatibile con i comandi bluetooth dello Zhiyun Crane M3S. Ho apprezzato il feedback velocissimo del post vendita contattato tramite mail ma la risposta non mi è piaciuta dato che francamente non si evince affatto dalle informazioni presenti in questa pagina e sul loro sito. Provato anche con il Fujinon 16-55 f2.8 e il gimbal non riesce a bilanciare nè meccanicamente nè con l'elettronica quindi non è un gimbal da caricare oltre il kg. Quindi ho zoommetti leggerini o meglio ottiche prime compatte. Il mini della DJI arriva a 2 kg anche se al limite ma comunque c'è da valutare con attenzione questi aspetti. Quindi via due stelle. Se avete Sony e Canon vi piacerà sicuramente di più ma occhio ai pesi e ingombri. Molto macchinosa l'App per android e il relativo abbinamento al gimbal, da perderci un sacco di tempo... Farò altre prove ma potrei decidere per il reso. Rimangono i punti di forza, leggerezza e compattezza e luce di riempimento a mio avviso più utile di giorno per schiarire le ombre ad esempio su un primo piano che di notte dove perde naturalezza. Peccato che ai gimbal non DJI, belli e accattivanti manca sempre qualcosa che ti fa poi pentire di aver preso un'altra strada.
