Looks good, seems sturdy, smooth assembly
I am very happy with this cabinet. The instructions were clear and the assembly went smoothly for the most part. The only real problem was that the longer dowels in two cases were either too long, or the holes drilled for them were too short. I don't know why there had to be two dowel lengths to begin with. Along those same lines, I couldn't see the reason for there to be two distinct sizes for the smallest screws (#6 and #13). There was maybe a millimeter difference in the length which just caused confusion for those of us who are a bit OCD about these things. Still, the assembly went well, and I spent about three days off and on with it.

Perfect cabinet
I just finished putting this together, by myself, it did take me about 6 hours to put together. However, the directions were very good and easy to follow. The box is very heavy to lift to get from outside to inside and there is a LOT of pieces. Definitely need a hand drill. The finished product was definitely worth the labor. it’s SO cute and looks great in my kitchen; I can fit a lot in it. It seems like good quality so far. I can’t wait to use it.

Very nice, lots of room inside.
Love the cabinet. I like that the shelves are adjustable to fit boxes of cereal. Like the small shelves on the door. And the spacious drawer. The only negative is there were so many pieces. It took me several hours to put together. It was easy to assemble, just very time consuming!

This pantry holds a LOT of stuff!
I'm very pleased with my new kitchen pantry cabinet. I just moved to a new place with a large kitchen and lots of cabinet room, including a huge 14-section built-in pantry cabinet my brother built; however, I wanted my own overflow pantry cabinet because there will be four adults living here, and we have to share the kitchen space. And since I'm a compulsive buyer and like to have a fully stocked kitchen, I didn't want anybody complaining about how much space I was taking up with my dried and canned foods. We have extra space off from the kitchen that's not being used (and isn't part of the dining room), so I thought a free-standing cabinet would be perfect since we have this extra space. This pantry holds a lot more stuff than I was expecting it to, which I'm very happy about. It looks nice too.I was a little worried that a DYI ready to assemble cabinet might look kind of tacky, but not this one. I didn't want to offend my brother and housemates with a cheap-looking pantry cabinet after my brother just spent months doing a wonderful job renovating this house we just moved into. I do have one word of warning, however. I had my brother, a professional finish carpenter, assemble the cabinet for me, and it took him about 6 hours to complete. The box weighed over 100 lbs, and there were a gazillion parts. I was quite astonished that it took so long to assemble, as he's very good at his craft, and I'm always amazed by how fast he gets things done as I've seen him build many kitchens and bathrooms, including cabinetry he made himself. I'll admit, I never could have assembled this pantry myself, and even one of our male housemates, who's considering buying one of these pantry cabinets for himself, said he never could have done it either. So, there is some work involved that requires time and patience (and someone who is good with reading instructions). That said, I'm very pleased with the finished product.

Need time, variety of tools, and handyman skills to assemble
Reasonable product - it met my expectations. Took 2 adults with intelligence and skills about 3 hours to put together. There was more than enough hardware to use. Some of the hardware was not of very high quality and had to be discarded, but because there was more than enough, it didn't cause a problem. The instructions are minimally acceptable. Unless you have a variety of tools and some handyman skills, I would pass on this product. It looks nice and seems like it will do the job. I wouldn't use it for a pantry and fill with canned goods and anything very heavy.

This pantry is the one!
Pros:1) for the price-point this is an excellent solution if you don’t have a pantry! I know it looks crooked in the picture but my floors are crooked hence why I have a wood block under one corner.2) It was easy to assemble! But mind you I like assembling things. It came in a thousand pieces in a very heavy box be prepared to spend a lot of time and patience with it.3) I like how flexible the shelves are. I was able to make a very short shelf for chopping boards and this pleased me. The middle drawer is shallower than I would’ve liked it to be but it fits everything.4) The hinges and drawer tracks seem steady but only time will tell. The wall anchors are also very secure which is good because I have littles. The only thing that really annoyed me was the fact that the inner door panels is not solid wood. Also it came with a ton of impossible little clips to hold the back panels in (also not solid wood but they almost never are). I skipped this step. I would've rather they sent in nails instead to hold the back panels to the frame. Also the doors look crooked in their frame. Now this could be because of wonky assembly but I’m inclined to think it’s the product. It doesn’t bother me too much but if you’re a stickler for that kind of thing this may annoy you. Anyway it’s a great piece if you desperately need a pantry and are on a budget!

Don’t waste your money
The only reason I gave it two stars was that from a distance it looks nice when it’s assembled. Don’t let the pictures fool you, this is as cheap and flimsy as they come. Not only was the finish chipped and scratched on nearly half the pieces, the backing and doors are basically cardboard. The shelves are held by tiny pegs and useless for holding cans as the bow as soon as you put weight on them. For the price you pay it’s a joke. I’d send it back but it takes hours to assemble and there’s no way I could take it apart and repackage it. Thus I’m stuck with a cheap and useless pantry. Don’t make the mistake I did.
