I bought this in a size XXL, thinking Chinese styles would never fit, but they are more than ample, so I gave that pair to my husband (and they are nice and oversized on him) and I got myself a size XL, which is STILL plenty big, believe me! My waist is 36" and hips 45", and these are super flowy and drapey, really nice. There are a few different styles, and I like the one they call style #3 on this page, but it's style #5 on another one of their pages. It has a flatter waistband, and high waisted, not bulky. Love the pegged ankle. No black in my size, so I got gray which is very nice. Hope I can find other colors in this style to get some more. I love them. UPDATE: I started with size XXL because of the size chart, but then I went down to an XL...and still they slip down when I've been walking around. I now got a size L (wasted two pairs in black and two other colors that are too big!). Finally determined that size L is right. My waist measures 36" and that does not correspond correctly to their size chart, so be advised that these run huge and are loose in the waist. Size L is a closer fit in the hip, so now I don't look like a barge in these. I like them because I wanted the heavy fabric in this style. I wish they would make them in stretch velvet. That would be dressier and perfect for winter. Are you listening, manufacturer?

I get more compliments on these and have shared the link with at least three strangers. They are well-constructed and are the perfect amount of baggy.

I ordered the Navy Blue in size large & was pretty sure they'd be too long. I am 5'0" 145 lbs. This pair has an inseam of 27" which is just about perfect. They're more medium blue than navy & the fabric is seems good quality (feels like linen/cotton blend as advertised). Washing instructions say do not tumble dry so I assume they'll shrink if thrown in the dryer. I have not washed them but steamed out the wrinkles. I'll wear them later this week & will order more barring any mishaps.

Love these pants. Ordered red/wine and black last year in slightly different style and they still look as they did when I got them a year ago. So, was a little apprehensive about ordering this year. Not disappointed in the dark gray lantern style. Order usual size; I am 5’5” 155 lbs, wide hips and take a 12 - 14 in most pants, so have ordered L. Perfect. Only difference is that this years pants are lighter weight fabric. Also - I have washed in cold water and dried a bit on low in dryer and hang inside out to finish drying.Word to the wise. DO NOT think you can get same quality at cheaper price buying from another seller because style looks the same, like I did. BIG mistake. Luckily, it was PRIME and I am returning via our local Whole Foods.

I kept these, but they are not as advertised. To begin with, the size chart is useless--the length for L says it is 40"...What? Anyway, they were about 32" and I had to shorten to 28". The blue shown is not the blue I got--it's not denim, but light blue. Finally, I own 100% linen pants and these claim to be 80%--a total lie. I'm not an expert, but guessing the amount of linen is closer to 20%--upshot is that they are far heavier and hotter than what 80% linen actually is. That said, a fun shaped pant. Lesson learned--do NOT believe these Chinese companies because they lie.

I wasn't sure if I would like these pants or not since they were a little unconventional for my style. When I tried them on, I loved the fit and comfort but still wasn't sure if they were "too much" for my older body. But the reaction from my friends when I modeled a couple of options for them was unanimous! Keep the creative, contemporary, stylish ones! I did and have not regretted it. I love the deep front pockets and the weight of the pants. They are not see-through but still kept me cool in the hot climates of the Caribbean. They look great with different style tops. If you are debating . . . go for it!

The shape is a lot wider and weirder than the pictures. Instead of looking cool, they look more like for middle age market people.

I was amazed at how well made this item is, and the material is thick enough for temperatures in the 40s and 50s and even low 60s (Fahrenheit). These are also very comfortable for curvy bodies.My only complaint is that I had to hem the legs, because I could step on them (being only five feet tall). I also wish this were available in more colors. However, I'm very glad I bought a pair. I wish it came in more colors, though.It's rare to find a well made item. I am pleased, and will probably purchase another pair.
