My BBQ veggi special is to roast oiled, sliced onion, pepper and courgette (maybe aubergine) in this. Throw in a few tomatoes (sun dried really add flavour) as you go and in parallel toast some haloumi. Throw the haloumi into it at the end and mix. Sit basket on a baking tray and serve. It’s VERY popular and even kids seem to love it (great way to get the kids to want to eat veg!). Lots of people have been impressed and asked for the recipe 😂This is big enough to cook veg for 6-10 people. Be aware that you’ll need a big BBQ if you want to cook lots of meat along side it. I do not recommend the smaller version unless you’re only trying to feed one or two (its tiny!)

Really pleased with this. Good size, strong and robust. Excellent addition to the bbq. Cleans well but does require a little scrubbing. Cook anything that is small for the grill, but has worked really well with bbq vegetables or prawns (so far!)

Buit like a tank and very well made with no sharp edges etc.Highly recommended.

This is a really nicely made product of high quality metal. It is a little bigger than I expected for smaller barbecues.

Worked a treat over the weekend! Cooked burger patties, chicken skewers and potatoes. Really easy to use and clean afterwards.

Ideal for bbq & vegtables

Great product although quite expensive. I already have one which I have been very pleased with. They easily sit side by side on my Weber BBQ with the lid closed.

Perfect for grilling veggies. Works great, used for the first time yesterday and made sliced zucchini, summer squash and onions. Onions were crispy and yummy, it was definitely a win! Will use it often. Dishwasher safe a plus. Stainless steel. Well made. Just wish it came with recipes!

Wir grillen gern Gemüse. Sei es Zucchini, Paprika, Pilze und vieles andere. Vorher haben wir immer Grillspieße gemacht, aber da war der Zeitaufwand um den Grillspieß anzufertigen ungleich länger als der eigentliche Garvorgang. Aus diesem Grund war ich auf der Suche nach einer komfortableren Lösung, um Grillgemüse anzufertigen.Durch einen Tipp meines Freundes bin ich auf die Weber Grillkorb aufmerksam geworden. Der Korb misst genau 30 x 35 cm und passt gut auf meinen Burnhard Fred Jr. Daneben ist nicht mehr sehr Platz, aber wenn ich Gemüse grille, dann ist dieser Schritt vom Fleisch und sonstigen anderen Sachen sowieso getrennt. Bevor ich das Grillgut in die Pfanne gebe, öle ich diese kurz ein. Man kann dazu raffiniertes Rapsöl oder Olivenöl nehmen. Wichtig ist, dass der Geschmack nicht völlig verfälscht wird. Vorher lege ich mein Gemüse noch ein und dann kommt es nach der Aufwärmphase in den Korb.Hier rühre ich ab und zu um und das war es schon. Für den Grillkorb nutze ich meist eine Gartemperatur von 200-250 Grad, das passt eigentlich gut und das Gemüse verbrennt durch die kleinen Löcher kaum. Ich habe einmal Grillkäse direkt dazugegeben. DAs hat aber weniger gut funktioniert. Der Käse verstopft die Löcher und damit ist ein Durchdringen der Hitze kaum noch möglich und das Ganze wird ungleichmäßig.Mit dem eigentlichen Ergebnis zum Grillgemüse bin ich wirklich sehr zufrieden. Man hat hier eine gute Balance an Löchern gefunden, dass einerseits das Gemüse gut durch wird, aber auch nicht zu viel direkte Hitze an das Grillgut gelangt, dass es zu schnell verbrennt.Das Material ist Edelstahl und ist wirklich beständig. Natürlich verfärbt sich das Ganze beim ersten Benutzen, was man nicht wieder komplett wegbekommt, aber das ist ganz normal für Edelstahl.Wir sind mit dem Grillkorb von Weber sehr zufrieden und würden diesen sofort wieder kaufen.positiv:- schlichte, ansprechende Verpackung, gut recyclebar- hochwertiges Material (Edelstahl)- super Grillergebnis- schnell reinigbarnegativ:- nichts
