Kanteen Sling
I have a 40oz Kleen Kanteen, 2 of them actually. I've been a fan as long as I've known about them, for a number of years. I had a canvas sling I used, but they would last about a year then fall apart, even with only moderate use.I saw this, and I had to have a go.What I like: Goes on easy, and has some nice pockets on the strap and on the side. Makes taking this without a backpack a very easy option when out for a hike. Won't hold much, but will hold a small notebook, pens, a small snack. The travel pouch is nice, it basically folds up inside out, into its own pocket. Good for throwing in a bag when I want to bring it along but don't need it right away (like traveling). What I don't like as much: It says its for a 40oz, but the picture shows the sling much smaller (or the bottle much bigger). The top of the sling goes about to the cap. Still very usable, but I have to fold it down a bit to drink and it doesn't look near as good as in the pictures. I also wish there was a way to adjust the strap.Still, I'm definitely a fan of this overall.

No More Leaky Bottles!
As someone who is slowly working toward getting into shape, my boyfriend and I started biking. Due to my diagnosis of both Lupus and Sjogrën's Syndrome, I have to take extra care when outside in the sun; the Sjogrën's especially starts to kick in. What does that mean? Well, it dries out my mouth, so in addition to the regular importance of remaining hydrated, it is doubly-so for me. So of course the problem arose: how can I carry around a bottle without it leaking all over the place?ConstructionThe ChicoBag Bottle Sling is simple: the fabric of both the bottle and the strap is “recycled” nylon, the type that is used for windbreaker jackets. The strap is long; even slung across your chest the bag will still hang down to your waist. Finally, there is a plastic carabiner clip on the zipper; you simply turn the ChicoBag inside-out and tuck it into the front pouch, and then zip the pouch shut to keep it out of the way when not in use. All-in-all the bottle sling feels both lightweight and durable, and all that I would be worried about is a snag or tear in the fabric; the seams are nice and tight so no worries about the bottle sling unraveling.UseSince I don't have a bottle holder on my bike, I needed a way to carry a water bottle that allowed 1) easy access, 2) convenience, and 3) didn't get in my way while biking. So I turned to the power of Amazon® to see what is out there that could save me from having to lug around a backpack. Ultimately I purchased both the ChicoBag and a ChillWarmer 17oz insulated bottle (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D3UNRM2/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Here are my observations:• The ChillWarmer bottle that I purchased fit perfectly within the ChicoBag. The pocket that holds your water/beverage bottle is deep so that the "sides" of the pocket cover most of the length of your beverage container; thus while walking/riding a bike/jogging you don't have to worry about the bottle jostling out of the bag.• As mentioned prior, the bag hangs down to roughly my hips. When I am sitting on my bike the bottle (if hanging against my side) will bump against my legs while I am pedaling. Due to the effect of gravity against the weight of a bottle of liquid, it is difficult to sling it over my back, as the bag will eventually slide back down. To resolve this, I fed both of my arms through the strap, thus centering the ChicoBag against my back and preventing it from shifting down to either side.• The small pouch on the front of the bag is large enough to hold a cell phone and keys, although I wouldn’t put them in there together as you could scratch your phone’s screen. You can also store lip balm, eye drops, or any other small objects that you want to carry.• The ChicoBag is machine washable, so should you have a spill and/or dirt on your bottle sling, just chuck it into the washing machine and it will come out as good as new.In the EndI can recommend the ChicoBag with confidence. It is durable, washable, comfortable, and a whole lot of other “-ables”. The only real complaint that I have is that the strap isn’t adjustable; that being said the length only becomes an issue if you are doing an activity which requires you to sit. The bag supports a wide variety of bottle sizes, and in short is an inexpensive way for you to carry around a beverage without the need for a cumbersome/hot backpack or risk a bottle leaking from a side satchel or fanny pack. So, whether you are an avid jogger, a bicycle enthusiast, or just want a convenient way to carry a drink while you are out an about, the ChicoBag will prove indispensable!

and secret pouches are always good. The strap is adjustable
These kinds of reviews really should come after more battle-testing, but here is what you get: this thing is light as a feather and surprisingly well made. There is no elastic stretch built into the holster. The fabric itself has some give to it, so the holster expands to hold a bottle up to 32 oz, although it is very snug, so snug that the fabric might flip the lid up on your bottle numerous times. The holster has a small secret zip pouch, and secret pouches are always good. The strap is adjustable. I kept expecting the thing to fall apart since it is made of aether and pixie dust, but it's well-made. For me, it's a matter of convenience. I go to a lot of festivals and go on a lot of hikes, and its a pain to put your bottle in a hip-sling or to always have a backpack. We want occasional liberation from the backpacks! When you put the bottle in for the first time you realize this baby can be infinitely adjusted lower or higher or put on the other side of your body or on your back - that is freedom you never had before. And this thing can hang in a tree. How many times have we had to pick up our water bottle and brush off ants or the dirt that got caked on when it tipped over? So for the low price you get another tool which makes it fun to carry a water bottle.Edit: now that I have battle-tested it I can report that it has a very small footprint while you are trekking around. It is easily shifted to other positions for comfort. The only problem I have is there was a loop above the pouch which is clearly meant to hang some sunscreen or insect repellent off of. I promptly did so, and it took about 5 minutes for the loop to break and I lost my sunscreen.
