Really nice laser, and it seems well built. I took some test measurements, and it's spot on so far. Measurement readings are almost instant, and it's easy to use. The screen needs to be brighter while outdoors, and the battery drains quickly. It is rechargeable, which is a plus.

I recently purchased the laser measurement tool, and I'm extremely impressed with its performance and features. This laser measure has made my home improvement projects more efficient and accurate. I like that it has rechargeable batteries. The accuracy of the measurements is spot-on, and I've used it for everything from measuring room dimensions to calculating wall areas for painting plus you can easily calibrate it. The display is clear and easy to read, even in lit environments, and the user friendly. The best part in my opinion is the fact that it has a camera and I can accurately see where I need to measure as well as the laser itself of course. I totally recommend it because it has exceeded my expectations 100%.

It takes too many steps to delete measurements. You have to press a button to get a menu, then select one or all measurements, then press delete to clear. On my older laser, I delete by tapping the on/off button. I make hundreds of measurements when making flooring layouts in a home. Deleting previous measurements avoids confusion or mistakes. Way, way to time consuming because of my measuring methods. Maybe it's just me. Second complaint is it's displaying down to 1/32". Almost no purpose for a measurement of 49' 7" 11/32. 16ths are plenty fine and user friendly. 3rd complaint is the display of 3/4" reads as 03/04" and 1/2" reads 01/02". That's way too much clutter for me. Now the positive side. I really like this tool otherwise. Great screen color and comparing to my other lasers, extremely accurate. It feels good in the hand and has a very nice zippered case. I loved the angle finder ability......no menu, it's always there and functioning. It came with rechargeable batteries but can use AAA's if power goes low. That's another great + I'd definitely buy this again if the measurements were limited to 1/16" and it had a simple "one click" delete button instead of going to a menu. The price was fair too.

This little but mighty tool does the trick every time. I’ve tested this at a few job sites over the past two weeks and it’s been extremely accurate and fairly easy to use. We even compared it to a few of our previous models to see which one would be the most effective and the S7 was always the closest measuring within a hundredth of an inch. Overall, this was easier to use vs the Dewalt. Another positive to note would be the durability when working in the elements. We got our first snowfall the other day and this thing held up like a champ. Adding it to my everyday bag for all our go to projects. At this point I really don’t have much bad to say about the S7, but I will continue to field test it and update this review if anything comes up. It saves you time and money in the long run, which is what you want in any tool.

It works very well. Pretty accurate and fast. I am using it very frequently in a day, and the batteries that were supplied in the package last 1 month. If you replace with a well known battery, most probably the batteries will last way longer. I am happy with the quality of the product and its price.
