Best CC cream I've found!
I've been going through primers, BB and CC creams like crazy over the past 6 months trying to find something to fit my needs. For me personally that meant: redness reduction, pore tightening/hiding, fine line hiding, and a smooth surface for my mineral powder make-up to adhere to. I have combination/sensitive skin with redness in the cheeks and nose, so it's not pretty to look at without make-up. I've been using mineral make-up since 2006, and recently added paraben-free natural cleansers to my regimen as well to help prevent the sensitivity and irritation. The redness and itchiness has decreased, but there is still some redness that isn't covered well enough by powder mineral make-up alone. Add to that that I'm now in my mid-30s, so my skin is beginning to show the signs of aging--fine lines, some dark spots, the laugh/frown lines, etc. and the mineral make-up isn't as flattering, long-lasting, and airbrushed looking as it was 8-9 years ago. I've tried L'Orรฉal, Avon, Ulta brand, Palmer's Eventone, Missha M BB Cream, a primer from a mineral make-up seller I use, but they all had issues. Some have silicon, so as I apply the mineral make-up the silicon starts to roll off. Most have parabens and other bad chemicals in them, most don't do enough to cover the redness or tighten the pores or fine lines. After buying another dud from Ulta (Catrice Prime and Fine), not two weeks ago, I decided to give Amazon a shot and see what they have. It's hard sometimes because I'm very conscience of the chemicals, that most options I have to reject out-right. I decided to give Lumene Time Freeze CC cream a chance. It's my understanding that perhaps I was asking too much from a BB cream or primer, and needed something more along the lines of "Color Correcting" (CC). This Lumene product really fits my top needs: the redness correcting (and it's not even green!), tightens/hides the pores, fills in the lines, and it makes my mineral make-up last twice as long. It doesn't rub off as fast (especially around the nose and mouth). I'm light skinned with a cool to neutral undertone, and this blends in absolutely perfectly with no yellowness or brassy copper tones. A light goes a long way; a tiny dot will cover one cheek completely, and it doesn't feel heavy at all, which is one benefit to mineral make-ups--it feels so light and breathable you forget you have make-up on. It covers even my poor skin so well, that I'm actually using far less mineral make-up than before, and my morning routine is now maybe 10 minutes faster, since instead of layering green color correcting mineral, then the pore hiding mineral, then the foundation, then the veil, I now just use the CC cream, do a dab here or there with my green corrector where there is a tiny bit of pink, then a quick buff all over for the foundation (skipping the pore hiding mineral completely), and another quick sweep with the veil. For those of you who have better skin than I do, I'd expect you could easily wear this as foundation alone. I definitely recommend this, and I will definitely buy this again when I start to run low.

Replaced my 80$ sephora products!
Warning. Wall of text coming. So I previously used Stila CC cream ($35ish, recently discontinued) and set with Laura Mercier Mineral Powder ($40ish, online only now). Since my holy grail products were discontinued and becoming too expensive I decided to try to find a replacement. I went back to Sephora to get a replacement and was disappointed and returned what I got. Stumbled upon the brand Lumene, saw it had good reviews and decided to try it out, only $14 why not. I was pretty blown away. I purchased "light" nervously hoping it wouldn't be too light based off previous reviews but I guess I am pastier than I imagined because the light is a perfect color for me. It blends into my skin very well, I apply it with a brush, then even it out with a beauty blender. The application only takes a few minutes and looks amazing. It was important to me that I have a simple, fast, product that gives me a natural look. This really is it. Probably the most important thing for me is that even after 5 or 6 hours it still looks fresh. Some makeups kind of separate on your skin after your oils work their way out and mix with the product (kind of gives it a camoflauge pattern of makeup in pores and creases sorry not the best description but I think you know what I mean) but this does not!! I don't even have to set this with a mineral powder because it looks so nice alone. I'm beyond impressed for a $14 tube, especially with how easy it is to apply. It really covers acne scar redness well, but doesn't do too much for dark eye circles, but that's not why I bought this. I bought it for redness so in that aspect I am very pleased. A few things about the photos posted: 1- my camera makes the worst look worse and the best look better. so the before and after is accurate, but remember that. 2- the product on my hand was not rubbed in, it was just what was left on my hand after i applied with a brush. It looks much smoother rubbed in and almost disappears. The main point of that was to show how light the light really is, considering a lot of the negative reviews talk about how it was too light, I thought an actual photo of the cream could help. 3- all that's on my face is the CC cream. No moisturizer or blush or additional product. Only the CC. So in the end my $14/ounce tube from amazon is replacing $80+ of Sephora products and gives me an equal, if not better, look. I'm writing such a detailed review because I was SO disappointed my Stila CC cream was discontinued I thought I'd never find such a good anti-redness CC cream....until now!

I saw an ad and decided to give it a try. This product is amazing, it doesn't look like you have on make up, yet it covers small flaws and evens out my skin tone. I highly recommend this product.
