Can you explain the big difference in batches? My first pack bought in Dec 2018 was sweet, pale and mild and the one bought May 2019 is dark and spicy

True (Ceylon ) cinnamon is light brown, sweet and less spicy than others e.g. Korean and Vietnamese cinnamons which are darker, spicier and contains more (undesirable) coumarin. So what was the second batch?

I have just looked at internet pictures of the different types of cinnamon and the ones in your pictures seen to be Cassia??? cinnamon??

I've no idea. I only know it's the one that is not toxic. Normal cinnamon should not be taken in excess of 2.5g per daybut Ceylon cinnamon can be taken in vastly increased doses as the tocic chemical is very low.

Hi SR, thanks for your great question regarding our best selling Organic Ceylon Cinnamon. Our organic products have a shelf life of 12-24 months. Our latest shipment sent as of October 2018 has two batches expiring Nov 2019 and Sep 2020. Shipments are normally sent monthly so expiry and batch numbers get updated on each delivery.
