I was really concerned that this controller was a refurbished one when I first ordered it. Reason being is that I had it sitting in my “cart” for about 6 days, then it stated it was sold out and there was no future date given stating when it would be available. About 4 days later it stated that it was available and it was a 2 day delivery. I went ahead and ordered it because our 13 year old has asked for an XBOX Series X console all digital and asked for a second controller for a Christmas present. When it arrived I was very surprised. It was in a regular Xbox box, all with normal new packaging, including the typical 2 Duracell batteries. So absolutely this controller is the real thing! I highly recommend and worth the cost.
