$500 is a lot of money but for me it’s worth it
Amazing product!! I wish I knew about this sooner. It only takes me 13 minutes to go from dripping wet to completely straight hair. I have been drying my hair with a round brush dryer and then going over it with a flat iron for years. It took so long and was very damaging to my hair. I had fly-a-ways and broken ends. With this dryer, my hair is very smooth and looks healthy. I can use the dry hair function the next day to refresh my hair after sleeping overnight. $500 is a crazy amount of money for a hairdryer but if you can avoid it, it is so worth it!

Worth every penny
I must have looked at this product 100 times before purchasing. I watched so many product reviews and read through so many comparison charts. I could not decide if the price was worth it. Looking back, I wish I had bought it sooner! I am in LOVE. Before the airstraight, I would use the Dyson blow dryer followed by a T3 straightener. Now, I use one tool for it all. I haven’t used my straightener since I purchased the airstraight. I love when I travel how I only have to bring one tool and the best part is my hair breakage is so minimal compared to using a regular straightener. I have fine, thin hair. I don’t know how well it would work on curls or thick hair but I highly recommend it for finer hair. It seems to also add volume which I love, where a straightener gets ride of volume.

Timesaver!
Huge timesaver! I am blown by how little time it takes to style my thick and wavy bob length hair. Drying + Styling took me about 20 minutes in total my first time using it, where it would’ve taken me 20 minutes just to dry my hair! The controls are intuitive and the weight didn’t tire my arm at all. The color is gorgeous and the machine is so sleek. However, the bulky power cable seemed a tiny bit cumbersome. This could also add to the weight/bulk when traveling. I had to also section fewer hair, than I typically have to with a flat iron and come back with the dry setting on a few wayward hair. But, none of this is a deal breaker for me.With how gorgeous my hair feels and looks, and with so little effort, I think it’s been worth the high price point. But, I do appreciate the $100 off for Memorial Day weekend, to make the deal sweeter!

Former frizzball, now sleek and straight
Before purchasing this Dyson Airstrait, I used to sometimes wash my thick hair at night and go to sleep with wet hair (not good for me), because the thought of blow drying my thick and heavy hair was just too much when I was too busy or tired. I’d wake up from that with even worse hair - still wet and looking nasty - and a less healthy scalp because of that.NOW…… everything has changed. I can wash my hair and then have it completely dried and styled sleek and straight (NO FRIZZ!!!) in under 10 minutes. If I do this at night, I wake up and my hair still looks great!I have naturally wavy hair and recently cut it into a bob to help manage the time and effort I spend on it. A good cut and this product means I have perfect hair every day…. It is saving me so much time and money, and now I actually like this drying/styling part of my routine. The only “con” is that you can’t flip out the ends of your hair or roll them under- this thing gets hair SUPER straight. But I want that look, so it’s a great option for me!

AMAZING
TL:DR - my wavy/curly hair typically takes 45 min - 1 hour to straighten. I used the air straight and it took 17 and a half minutes to go from wet hair to dry and straight. It also worked on dry waves/curls to dry straight.Easy to use. Highly recommend.I honestly was a little skeptical about this when I first decided to try it. I have wavy/curly hair and it takes FOREVER to straighten it.Blow drying takes a long time for me, and I honestly lack the brush/hand/eye coordination to do a great job. So basically I have to dry my hair and then go over it with a flat iron.I have tried multiple tools that are blow dry brushes to try to get my hair from wet to dry/straight and most of them do nothing but create frizz. Even after finding one that semi-worked, I still had to spend time going over my hair with a flat iron to get it straight and not frizzy. This whole process would typically take me a minimum of 45 min, but usually closer to an hour.I had read reviews about the Dyson air straight greatly reducing that time and it being super easy to use. I decided to try it and assumed that even if it did get my hair close to straight, I would still need to go over it with a flat iron. I was hoping this would just drastically cut down the overall time it took. The first time I tried it my hair was dry and curly. I had some free time and decided to see how the air straight would do in this capacity. I figured, since it was using air, it wouldn’t be the best at going from dry-curly to dry- straight. I was wrong. Within what seemed to be about 15 minutes my hair was straight!! I even quickly “set” it with the cool air setting. I was honestly astonished at how well this machine worked!!Then it was time for the real test. Would it be able to take my wet, out the shower hair, and straighten it quickly? I wasn’t sure. I watched the video in the Dyson app when I first opened it (I think it’s about 2 min long, nothing crazy) which explained how to use the tool to dry the roots before you start straightening. I decided to use the stopwatch function on my phone to see how long it actually took me to do my hair. I hit start on the timer and started straightening with the air straight. Most sections of my hair were dry and straight with ONE pass of the machine. This was honestly amazing because using a flat iron typically takes several. Some areas needed two passes, but this was still so much better and quicker than anything else I’ve used. Plus it was my first time doing it so I’m sure there is a learning curve. When my hair looked done I went over it with the cool setting to “set” the style and hit stop on my phone. It took me 17 min and 29 seconds to go from wet waves/curls to dry straight hair.I am honestly amazed and will never be able to straighten my hair any other way.
