Some time ago I bought two of these to keep an eye on the humidity around the house. I’ve since added a Meaco dehumidifier to the mix, so I thought it sensible to pick up another couple of monitors and spread them around the place. I now have four in total, and they all agree with each other remarkably well — usually within a degree or a percentage point. As an extra check, I put the two newest ones side-by-side with an air-quality monitor, and again the readings were very close. All in all, I’m pleased with them. They give me a clear sense of when it’s worth switching on the dehumidifier, and they’re useful for general day-to-day awareness.

I like the first one I got so much that I picked up two more. Easy to see from a distance. Battery lasts ages. Seems reasonably accurate and responds fairly fast to changes in the room.

An excellent temperature and humidity monitor. Nice clear display and on testing against two other devices we already have readings were spot on. All you have to do when you first use it is to pull out the white battery tag to activate the battery and its up and running. I tried the calibration feature and its easy to do, not something i will do often i guess but a nice feature. Another nice feature is the built in magnet so can be attached to freezer door in kitchen etc. I thought the price was fair and would recommend to anyone looking for a good device.

However, there’s a quirk that feels like a step backwards: high and low readings reset every 24 hours. In my experience, similar devices store all-time highs and lows until you manually reset them, which can be handy for tracking seasonal or long-term changes. This one doesn’t — so it’s more of a daily snapshot tool. Bottom line: If you just want to check today’s conditions at a glance, this works well enough. If you need longer-term tracking, there are better options. Who it’s for: casual users who want a quick visual readout of current and daily ranges. Who it’s not for: people who want historical tracking over weeks or months.
