Looks Nice
I had to wait 2 months for my son-in-law to have time to it set up for me. He screwed/bolted (?) it to a heavy block of cement for stability. Surprisingly, the first night up, it gave off a pleasant glow with enough light to be useful. Looks very attractive in front of the large stone column at the end of my porch.

Not very bright at all.
Bought this unit with the intentions of lighting up my back yard walkway. Unfortunately it barely lights up 10 feet. It boasts having a large output but puts out less than a candle light does. Overall very dissatisfied with my purchase 2/5 WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN.

Built to last
Honestly this was a little more solid than I expected for a reasonably priced post lamp. It comes in pieces and all you have to do is screw everything together. There are a couple screws for the base but otherwise assembly is all done by hand. It’s as tall as any other big box store option and definitely easier to get set up. It’s a little top heavy and definitely something you will want to mount on something. I plan on just mounting ours to a 12x12 concrete block which will be fine. As with most like this you just twist the top off to set up your light settings. There’s a low and high setting depending on what your needs are. Both settings are the cool white color ones obviously just brighter. Overall this is done really well. The posts screw together securely and look great. It’s got real glass with a ripple texture and if you didn’t know it you wouldn’t even know it was solar. Very cool product, highly recommend

Solar Lamp Post Light
This is a solar lamp with a 71"post included. The aluminum pole is threaded and easy to assemble. The posts can be expensive to buy on their own, so it is great that this comes with one.The light output on this is 90 lumens which produces a respectable amount of accent lighting. There are two brightness levels but I use the high level. You can mount the base to a surface using the included hardware or, as in my case, use landscape nails to affix it to the ground.I like the styling of this lamp and like how it looks in my backyard garden area.

Very well made, just wish the lamp was brighter
This lamp post is very well made. It appears to be sturdy cast aluminum with a nice black coating to protect against weathering. The coating does not seem to be anodized and it can be damaged if you aren't careful as my lamp had some nicks on the coating that appeared to break the coating surface rather than abrade it like it would with an anodized surface. The lamp is nice and will add some "atmosphere" to your garden but it could be brighter. There is a brightness setting on it but it seems that the brightest setting was the only one satisfactory to me; and even then, it added "mood lighting" rather than actual lighting I could see distinctly with. I guess your satisfaction would depend on what you're installing this lamp in your garden for.Overall, the construction is very good, sturdy and the joints are well made and screw together very easily. It is an easy addition to any garden where you wouldn't want to fuss with wiring electricity to a lamp.

Long lasting 3.2v LiFe PO4 battery.
I was suspired that all of the unit is made of metal except the top solar unit is plastic. The three sections screw together the base is 8" across has a nice tapered look. The lamp screws on the post and is not a standard size so this lamp is all you can use on the post. The unit is a very light weight aluminum, the thickness will hold up to the weather but you can't swing around on it, it would probably break. The lamp has glass lens and puts out a good amount of light if there is proper sunlight to charge. The best thing about this unit is it has a Long lasting 800mAh 3.2v LiFe PO4 battery which is superior to regular Lithium battery's. Lithium batteries last about 500 cycles - LiFe PO4 last 3000 cycles so you should get a long life out of this if you don't run into it very hard and break the post.

Pretty, no stake included, iffy electronics
I am a bit disappointed in this lamp. The good points: It looks like the pictures. The post is lightweight, but pretty sturdy when assembled (which is easy, although the metal-on-metal joints can be loud to screw together). The lamp itself is glass, so the only plastic part is the solar panel/led assembly on top. The top is easy to put on and remove. The light stays lit for a number of hours after dark (I don’t know how long, but it stays on until after midnight). The neutral: The light produced is cooler than it looks on my screen- this is classic cold white LED light. The light is also quite dim, even on high. It casts enough light to dimly light a dark area (probably enough to find your way, but not more than that- maybe almost as much light as a full moon). The bad: First, it does NOT come with any way to “interchange steel stake and base”. It only comes with the base and anchors to attach it to concrete. This was very disappointing, as i had to try and find a way to install it (that I had not planned on), and took away a major reason I opted for this model. If you want to use it in the garden, you will need to come up with your own way to anchor it, which may be difficult depending on your situation (loose sandy soil is a challenge). The glass lamp and light metal post combine to make the whole assembly top-heavy, so it is not very forgiving of imperfect anchoring. The other, more troubling issue: mine did not start out working reliably. I was able to get it to turn on for a few seconds after it had charged for a full day and a half in the sun, but it quickly turned off, then nothing. The next evening I checked the battery (fully charged), and opened it up to check for loose wires. No luck. I left the top upside down in my living room until the next morning… when I woke up to see it was on. I reattached the top and it has been working every night since, but I have no idea why it stopped, or why it started again. So: it’s pretty, but unless you really fall in love with this specific style (and want that cold white light), I’d look elsewhere.
