"reactivated by a touch"...does that mean the cat should be able to "wake" the toy within 2hrs? I'm always pushing the button to turn it back on.

Probably not two hours. I’ve seen the reactive it within five minutes or so, by jumping on it.

What is the lock and unlock feature supposed to do? I don't see a difference.

It locks and unlocks the ring that holds the skirt in place. Lock when in use, unlock to remove or replace the skirt. The arrow on the ring can be lined up with the lock/unlock symbol on the unit, but will work wherever the ring drops in place when turned.

Can you buy a replacement for the actual spinning arm that the attachments hook onto? The threading on mine is stripped

that is something for the comany to answer, but they do sell replacement attachments, so I assume they would also sell the arm ... contact them ...
